That was one of my "ex-businesses", Lisa. I had a website that was a shopping coupon place. There are a zillion of them.

Congrats on the treadmill!

Kathy - I don't know why, but it never even dawned on me that these kinds of websites existed.

Good afternoon,

I just put this together and am going to have a cup with the Core Banana Oatmeal that I got here. It smells good even before I've added the water. Also, I have some DaVinci toasted marshmallow to ad. I'm still having fun trying new things.

Have a great day.

Homemade Cocoa Mix

2 Cups non fat dry milk
1 cup Splenda
1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
1 Box Sf/FF Vanilla Pudding
1 TBSP Ground Cinnamon (Optional - but great)

Mix well. Store in air tight container. Mix 1/4 Cup of this mix with 1 cup of hot water.

Girl -- you don't know what you're missing!! It was better 4-5 years ago, because there were so many coupons like $20 off $20 (just pay shipping), and good deals like that. When Pets.com was around that was a big deal.

Saundra, that looks GOOD! I'm going to have to make some. The closest thing I've found that tastes halfway good is the Swiss Miss FF cocoa (with Splenda).

Wow Chicks! I've had a busy day. I got up early, ate my oatmeal, showered and headed off to the mall near my home to see the World Series Trophy! Jim and I had our picture taken with it. What a thrill! I'll try to post the picture in my profile later. I didn't want to post another picture until I lost 50 pounds but this one is so fun, I think I'll make an exception. We waited in line for 2 hours and 45 minutes! My little legs were SO tired. Then our friend and Jim and I went out to lunch. We didn't get home until around 2:00. Then I had to talk to my Sister who was sick.

Thanks for worrying about me! I had some lab test that aren't back yet. Doc is trying to make sure I don't have some kind of intestinal infection. Bloodwork is all normal - GREAT! I was cleared to have the CT scan of abdomen and pelvis. I was prepared for the contrast IV but not that I'd have to drink the barium. I am such a baby. I know it's not invasive but it's SO icky. The test is Friday morning. I keep trying to tell everyone that the barium is NOT Core and I cannot possibly drink it but so far they are ignoring me. Doc doesn't expect to find anything serious but wants a good look at my mid section. So....if I want his help I have to be a big girl and go for my tests.

I'm off to read posts now and try to catch up on my responses!

Kathy, I think it is GREAT news that Kate's BF got another job! What a relief for both of them. And Judd......he goes from making you crazy about Shaun to giving you his football winnings to go for a body wrap. What a sweetheart! I'm glad he went back to being sweet Judd. I like him best.

Saundra, Welcome! Congratulations on getting rid of 20 nasty pounds. I LOVE Core and consider it to be my new way of eating. Good luck getting through that New Year's Eve Party.

Sandra, let's hear about this new trailer! I hope you went to WW. You and I agree that those meetings are SO important. I can't wait to hear how you did.

Melissa, what a bummer that you are back at work! I thought you had the whole week off. I'm glad you're back on Core.

Frouf, what a shopping trip you had. I love hearing about your adventures. Sounds like you got some pretty darn good deals. The bath, however, would have been the highlight of MY day. You should make more time for these. It really shounds like it rejuvenated uou.

Lisa, don't you just LOVE those coupon sites?! I also use coupon mountain. I never shop online without checking them first. Congratulations on your exercise program. I'm convinced that exercise is essential to lose the weight.

Angela, aren't you and your Mom so sweet! Tell Mom that I'm hanging in there and thank her for checking on me. I hope to be exercising this week which should get me going again. I'd forgotten how much I love shrimp cocktail. Maybe I should go to Trader Joe's and get some for myself for New Year's Eve.

Jim and I don't have any plans. We don't go out very often and aren't planning to this year. We always rent movies and stay up until at least midnight. Sometimes we have a glass of wine depending on our moods. We love to kiss in the new year. Aren't we just silly?!

Ok Chicks! I'm off to see if I can post the picture.

Lisa, it sounds like you are doing great. I didn't know about those websites, thanks for sharing!

Saundra, and thank you for sharing that cocoa recipe.

Vickie, aren't you sweet as you can be. I love the picture. It's so awesome to see you two in action. It sounds like you've had a GREAT day and I'm so glad! You deserve some fun! Now be a good girl and go have your tests done. I'm sure we can figure out points for the barium.

Kathy, be careful!! I can't imagine what it must be like down there.

We've been watching "The Hulk" which we DVR'd. I'm so tired I don't feel like doing a thing. But I have to clean the kitchen and do some laundry!

No way that I am the last one here and first one here today!! Is everyone okay??
I'm trying to get back on the wagon today. It's difficult. But I read someone's signature (on another thread) a quote that has stuck with me. I think it said, "Unhealthy food is not a right or a privilige." I've been thinking about that this morning and how I am not entitled to eat poorly or be fat!! I know that we are having veggie pizza for dinner tonight so I'm trying to really watch myself today. I feel better, overall.
Hope everyone is doing well and has a good day!

Good morning Melissa,

It's a terrible morning today, freezing rain. Our kids are driving in from Kitchener, Ontario, which is usually five to six hours, but today probably much longer. I do worry when they're on the road.

I'm doing a meatloaf dinner with sweet potatoes, acorn squash and apples for dinner. i want to show them how well I am eating, and still it's tasting so good.

Lots to do, so off I go,

Saundra
