Hi all. We're still here. The city is under a very strict water conservation. We are supposed to use city water for drinking only.

We went out to Sams this morning and bought 3 more cases of bottled water, as well as paper plates, cups, and baby wipes. We are also collecting all the water our sump pump is pumping out into our kids' wading pool and using it to fill our toilet tanks so we can flush. I will probably also wash the kids' hair in it tonight, as we are all getting pretty dirty.

According to a news conference, at our current rate, the city has about 2 days of fresh water left. So we are all doing our best to conserve. Luckily, the stores so far have plenty of water.

Angela-so glad you guys are okay! Are you all able to work? What's happening with the store? I hope everything goes well for you. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Rhonda-you may be right. That will be awful!
Angela-I will be praying that things get back to normal quickly.

I'm off to camp in the morning. I'll check in if someone has a computer with wireless internet. Hope you all have a great week.

Hi all! Back from my weekend away.

Sandra, great news about Curtis. Glad to hear it!

Paula, glad to hear about your dad. He will get there, it's just going to take time!

Angela, it must be hard going without showers. I can not go a day without a shower.

Sloanie, have a great time camping!

Welcome back Nancy!

I went camping, just overnight, but I didn't have a chance to grab anything. I made the best choices possible, but some weren't op as I didn't have time to bring any food for myself. I relied on my dbf's family (they told us to come up at the last minute and not to bring anything, which we basically didn't. On a good note, for dinner they had grilled chicken, corn on the cob, potatos and watermelon for dessert. But I had a can of real coke, as they didn't have any diet and they ran out of bottled water.

Today, my brother and I took my dad to the zoo for fathers day. I walked more than I have in a long time, but my knee is quite sore. But I definitely got in some exercise with all that walking.
