Default Meet in the Middle - An Inbetween Challenges Chat

Congratulations djay!

You've Won the TBL "We Are Family" Challenge!

Djay lost an amazing 28.8 lbs for a total weight loss percentage of 13.98%.

Morning Everyone.

Well where one challenge ends another begins. This thread is for getting to know all of the new potential team mates and for both red and blue to come together and stay connected until the next challenge starts.

Please remember to be polite and courteous and respectful of others opinions and whatnot. Any questions that are challenge related should be directed to the FAQ thread that is stickied at the top of the Biggest Loser Challenges thread.

Remember, the deadline to sign up for the next challenge is December 27th. I can't take any late comers after that point. Also, do not sign up for the challenge in this thread... it will not count. There is a thread at the top of the Biggest Loser Challenges forum for that as well.

Thanks!

Congrats Djay! I'm especially impressed when you consider that you took a trip to Vegas in the last challenge. Vacations always do me in.

I'll be back later, just wanted to check in.

Congrats for both teams on your successes (and any lessons learned) on this last challenge!

I am EXCITED to have joined up for the next challenge. Hello everyone, my name is Julie. I used to be big time participator in these here challenges, so much so that I was the (very proud) Black Team leader. For the last challenge, I had to drop out because our photography business got so busy so fast and we didn't know what we were doing...lol. Luckily, things are still busy but we have learned a lot more about our time management...and I am BACK at the challenges. If you read my blog you'll know my story of the last couple of months and you'll know that I NEEEEEEED this challenge (and 3FC) to get me back to being as motivated as I was last year.

So..... I want to get to know you guys and I know that this thread will be hopping so fast that I won't be able to keep up - but I wanted to let you all know that I look forward to the coming challenge and look forward to getting to know you all!

YAY!

Julie, welcome back! I'm glad to hear that your business is still doing well, and that you will have time for us here too! I would recomend the RED team, it's where most of your old black team ended up, I think.

Julie - I'm so excited that you're coming back for this challenge. I was on the first Black team. Are you still trying to move to Florida?

Wink

I have been the slowest loser in the world lately. I just got over food poisoning and started eating more calories also. I am happy to report a 3 pounds loss, since yesterday. I checked several times to make sure. I don't know if it will stick, but I certainly hope so.

I am excited for the new challenge and hope to start it up with a few less pounds. I am cruising my way down to 145ish. I can hardly wait to get there.

Hi all. I am coming back to TBL after missing the last one. I am looking forward to the new year, new team, and new me!

Dixied and cakses - congrats (and bless you) for taking the lead on the teams in the upcoming challenge! Chellez, London, and the other team leaders have been the cornerstones in the past. You have big shoes to fill! THANK YOU for stepping up!!!!

I'm Kris, 37 YO mom to DS (19) and stepmomish to DD(9), DS(7) and DS(4). I work in management for a local government agency, and have a live in boyfriend. I need to lose weight, I need to de-stress, and I look forward to really making 2009 MY YEAR for both!

I know the thread is crazy fast in the beginning and I hope to keep up. I have to remind myself that I need to put 4x as much time on the treadmill than I do on the posts. I would love to run off 30lbs this challenge! Heck, I would love to ditch 3 lbs this challenge. I cant wait!!

Look forward to meeting everyone! (Mtiggie~ here I am!)

As a matter of fact, yes we are - and we are closer than ever now! We are looking to move to the Pensacola area sometime next year (hopefully within the first 6 months - but we'll see). We've been down there a few times this past year and love it! We are doing a bridal show there in Pensacola and second one in Ft Walton Beach in January. We will also be in a couple of issues of a wedding magazine down that way. Hopefully that will help in making the transition an easy (or easier) one. We are so excited though!! So, I'm here to start getting my body beach-ready!

I'm so glad that these two challenges are so close together. I got in an inbetween sort of funk last time, but I think with them closer, I don't really have a chance to get out of challenge mode. I went a little haywire with eating in the last week, but I'm making progress getting back on plan. By Monday I will be firmly back to 1400-1500 calories.
