Checking in! Decided to stick with WW but would still like to participate here if that is ok. I am 219 on WW's scale (which is about 2 lbs lighter than mine here and it was a loss of 2.8 for the week). I'm going to revise my goal and hope to get down to 215 by memorial day. We are going to Bonnaroo this year (huge music festival in Tenn) and I'd like to be as small as possible by then!
I am inching ever close to Onederland! I know I will get there eventually.
Hey! I'm going to Bonnaroo too!! My fifth year in a row. I'm getting free tickets through the street team this year by hanging posters and handing out stickers. Anyways, I'd like to lose 8 lbs by Memorial Day and 10 lbs by Bonnaroo. Last year, I think I was around 210 lbs at Bonnaroo and I struggled. The record heat was a huge factor. Hopefully, this year will have cooler weather. 2008 was awesome with temps in the 80's all weekend. I'm going to try to exercise a lot in May so I can get ready for all the walking. In 2007, we were put out in BFE and had to walk 45 minutes to an hour in 90 degree heat to get to the gates. My friend passed out the first day and had to go to the first aid tent. Freaked me out at the time (I thought she was having a seizure) but we laugh about it now. I'm also anticipating a lot of standing as I would like to get close to the stage for Eminem and Buffalo Springfield (with my bad luck, they'll be on different stages - I'm hoping they are both on What). Last year, I was front row behind the pits for Jay-Z. I got there in the afternoon during Jimmy Cliff and had to stand for 7-8 hours because it was too crowded to sit. I got to crouch a little between The Dead Weather and Stevie Wonder but it didn't help much. My feet were killing me so much that I missed most of the late night acts. This year, I'm bringing more comfortable shoes. Losing a couple pounds will make a huge difference as well. Sorry for the rambling post. Bonnaroo makes me really excited and I can hardly wait for this year's festival.
Good luck on your goal. Keep up the good work and you'll look amazing for Bonnaroo.
