First off, I'm glad everyone who is on this forum that is currently in Japan (and in the areas that were effected by the earthquake/tsunami) are ok!
prepping: Hope you had fun at your sporting events!
wannabenurse: Welcome! (sorry I'm late, lol) Glad you've cut down on the smoking and are eating healthier things! I am also very very sore when I do any Jillian video. I am doing the same video as you (burn fat boost metabolism dvd) on days when I can't get to the gym and there are certain things I can't do yet so I just improvise. Keep up the good work!
SMS: Congrats! Anything you do now that you couldn't do before is an improvement! Soon you'll be running even more laps! Way to kick some butt girl!
yossarian: WOW! 7K?! That's hardcore! My calves burn after doing interval running for 30 minutes so I'm definitely impressed!
sun: I'm glad things are looking up for you. I'm glad you get to enjoy the park while you're in the hotel and that you're DD is doing well

jmko: I'm so jealous! I've been using the scale at the gym and at home and trying to find a happy medium, which is just frustrating me even more! As for leaving the hubby at home with the cat - I'm sure he's survived LOL!!

I quit my job on Friday. I'm a supervisor and had been working in 2 stores for almost 1.5 months now. My manager from my "home" store called me at the other store and decided to yell at me about something that I had already talked to her about. Stress levels went up instantly and I decided I don't have to take that kind of treatment from a fully grown adult. I only have 3 more weeks till I go back to North Carolina so I figured I'd use the extra time to focus on my weight loss and spend more time at the gym.
Friday did cause a bit of a binge tho :\ According to the scale at the gym, I went from 211.4lbs on Thursday to 212.6lbs (I weighed myself today) so I need to get my butt in gear since I was doing really well and came down from 214!!
I did go to the gym today tho. I did Week 1 Day 2 of my C25K, added in 25mins on the elliptical after and burned 451 calories altogether!! Woot woot!!

) I'm going to save up for a good scale. My parents scales are analogue and my eyes aren't getting better in my old age (scoff) and I can't see the divisions too clearly. I went to register at Banatyne's gyms, and the guy weighed me and it was a good 4lbs out from my "home weight"... and depressing. Hah
