mmmm... that pizza is lookin' pretty good. I'll have to investigate that site more!
The pizza is quite good but very tiny.
I put the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out so it seems like more.
What I like about the pizza is that they put the Italian type seasonings right in the dough. I put lots of chopped veggies on top.
I was reading through old posts in this thread, and I saw that Sweet Tweets had closed down. I was shocked, because I was there yesterday (August 24, 2012)! I bought some WF Thousand Island for my big mac in a bowl (mmmmm), and there were tons of WF products there. I also saw Miracle Noodles, but found shirataki noodles at T&T in West Ed Mall for quite a bit cheaper.
Sweet Tweet is quite far for me to go, but I can't find another other WF products close to me besides my clinic (which is expensive).
Another Albertan here! Going into my 5th week on IP, survived a holiday and still going strong! Nice to read the information on this thread, I hope it stays alive
This is actually my first post but I have been reading most of the IP threads since the end of January. I am from Central Alberta as well. I have lost 56 lbs since Christmas and I am feeling awesome! I am starting to use some alternatives as I get closer to goal. I did my first Nashua order last week. Got 19 boxes of various IP comparable products for 219$, 46$ shipping. Will let u all know in the Alternative thread how it is when it comes. I go to sugar free and more in Red Deer about once a month for WF stuff, pure protein at Walmart or superstore and lite muscle milk at Costco.
You are all so inspiring to me and when I am feeling the wind leave my sails I just start reading posts.
Thanks! Hope I am doing this post right....
Hello!
I recently looked at Nashuas website and there is a huge variety. I was wondering if you had to pay Duty on your purchase, if so can you give me a ballpark figure?
I have NEVER ordered anything online before but I'm gonna have to start as the IP products are getting waaay too expensive.

Yes it had been closed down at the end of June but I was thrilled last week when I was driving by and saw they were open again. It had been for sale in the spring, maybe there are new owners. It does have a fantastic assortment of sugar free things.

Thank you so much in advance!
If I am remembering correctly I paid between $8- $9 on the $100 order.
The big expense is the shipping. ....but some orders
I didn't pay duty at all.

Yes, I got stuck with a tariff the one time I ordered from the US. I tried a bunch of stuff from Doctors Best Weight Loss earlier on with my diet. I think the tariff was close to $30. You can buy a lot of good alternative products at Proteinwell.ca.
Plus, I've just about finished my new dieting blog, which focuses on using alternatives while on IP - you may find some of it useful, as I talk about where I've found alternative products. Feel free to have a look. I'm interested in knowing what people think of it - my first time putting together a blog. It's in my signature line below.

Wow - you got off lightly. I've only ordered from 'across the border' once because I got stuck with a tariff that was close to $30 - and that was on top of the shipping. It was a big order though. From DoctorsBestWeightLoss. And I had the inconvenience of having to go to the post office to claim it. Since then I've stuck with sources in Canada, like thelowcarbgrocery & proteinwell.ca.
