Angry Hi everyone

Hi everyone- I'm down 2lbs this week. I kinda expected more since I started back to the gym last Monday, but I've decided not to beat myself up when I don't hit the number I expect so I'm going to be happy with my loss.
Angie- Way to go! 159- you are truly inspiring! You go girl!
Kina- Hi You sound like you're keeping busy! How's the Honor Society going?
Choci- Thanks for reminding me again it's not a race. When I first started the weight flew off. Boy do I miss those days!
Hello to everyone else, I hope everyone's doing great and has a good weigh in. It's snowing outside! Kempyd you should send some Spring my way! I miss Rusty's posts- Rusty where are you? Your posts are always so full of useful info and good food choice ideas. I need some new chicken ideas. Getting sick of the same old thing but need something lowfat- any ideas? Well I know this was long. I'm a little chatty today. Jen- way to go on that 2 mile walk! Talk to you guys later. Di

What the ****??!!! I weighed myself for KH Valentines Challenge a couple of days ago and I was at 159, today the scales are back up to 161!!!HUH??!! I hate overweighing. I don't usually do it but I had to for that challenge. Geesh, I even sat in my bedroom to watch tv last night so I wouldn't eat anything for snack. I ate on plan yesterday except for a couple of bites of the cakes I made the kids and a couple of bites of brownie I made for hubby. That is all.

Oh well, Put me down for a loss of 1 pound this week and a total for the challenge of 5 pounds.I guess I will cut my exrcise back to just an hour because there is no way in **** I am going to burn myself out!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Sah and Jen I am sorry about what I said. I didn't mean a significant other. I meant anyone, Mom, Dad, friends ect. Now I feel bad.

You guys could have been my valentine.

Angie, I am going through the same thing -- I weighed 264 the other day, been totally OP, and haven't budged from 266 since. Oh well. I'm at 3.5 pounds lost for the challenge so far -- see what I get for setting a bigger goal? It's funny, I always say 10 pounds for each challenge and usually go over that by a little. So I shoot for 12 this time around and it's been my worst challenge yet!

I guess someone's trying to tell me something...

Hope everyone had a great week. I did stay OP really well, but it didn't happen the way I wanted it to. I'm doing all I can not to get discouraged. I'm actually starting to laugh at the scale now!

I knew I wasn't ready for weigh-in. It looks like I'm up 2 pounds from last week. Not surprising given my eating pattern.
Kempyd, sometimes Valentine's Day is difficult for me since I feel like the reason I don't have a partner is because I'm just not good enough. That's MY self-esteem problem. You were sending good wishes to everyone. No need to feel bad about that. Yes, my first impulse was to say, "Poor me, I'm all alone." Then I thought of all the people in my life and realized that "someone to share that love with" was all around me.

Good morning everyone. I'm down 1 lb to 184, putting me @ -5 lbs this challenge. I could blame it on TOM but I'm not (semi-private joke) . We have 12 more days left to reach our challenge goals. Let's go ladies, we can do this!

I just have to say that lose or gain, you are all inspirations to me. Keep the faith and we will be healthier, stronger, tougher and more breath-takingly beautiful than we are now. Have a great day.

Default Valentine went overtime!

Hey everyone! I have been "Valentines Day" since friday! My husband totally gave me the best valentines I've ever had! He told me he would behome early on friday . Then he says to pack the kids clothes and take them to my mom's house and stay there until he calls me to come home! So you can just imagine how excited I was then lol.l I felt like a kid wanting to open a christmas gift lol. Well I finally arrive at my house at 5 PM. As I walk in everything is dark but there are candles lighting the dining room ,my favorite love song is playing ( KC & Jo Jo) The song's called " All My Life" He had a huge gorgeous rose bouquet with a balloon the size of our front door! Dinner was served! He had picked up dinner from my favorite restaurant " Tony Romas" yes fattening stuff! lol babyback ribs, backed potato and cheesecake! Bottle of champagne too. We ate dinner and get up to use the bathroom and when I walk in there , there is a hot bubblebath runing, a single rose ont he side of the tub, champagne glasses ,ice, champagne and a CD player in the bathroom playing Luther's Song " Here And Now" Well I wanted to faint! Ok let's skip the bubble bath part lol . I go to my room and there on the bed was a pink silk valentines lingerie from Victoria's Secret! What else can I say?
Now for the truly amazing part!!!!!! I gave him his gift. A basket filled with sexy shorts, cologne and chocolates. I made him a fruit flower basket bouquet. It looks like flowers but its all made out of strawberries, pineapple and grapes. Instead of a valentines card I gave him a " message in a bottle" I searched online for the perfect poem to put in a wine bottle. I must have read at least 100 poems and searched so many websites too! Well He wanted to read a special poem that he had stuck in the card he was giving me. As he started to read this poem I was getting goosebumps ,not because of the words . But because this was the IDENTICAL poem I had gotten for him! Yes it was indeed the same poem. I opened the wine bottle and handed him the poem and he freaked out when he saw it. People what are the chances of that happening? LOL I stuck both poems in the bottle and the bottle is now in our room
Well I better go , I have another short post to write and Im going to bed.

I maintained this week. I was able to resist most of the Valentines day goodies but was feeling so crummy all week with my sinus infection that I was unable to workout. I also moved this week so carrying boxes up and downstairs and building bookshelves did not leave me much time for snacking. Hope everyone is doing well! I am ready to get back on track!

Default Hi everyone

Hi everyone. We're under over 2 feet of snow right now! Fortunately they called a state of emergency so I don't have to worry about work today. The down side is it's my birthday and I'm snowbound , hubbies still sleeping, and in a few hours we have to start digging out. We were smart and kept up on it yesterday, so what we have to dig out is nothing compared to our neighbors. We have about 8-10 inches from last night we need to move, they have the 2 feet. So today I plan to play on the computer, read and hopefully get off my behind soon and exercise so I make sure I stay away from that frig today. Nothing's better for a snowbound day than comfort food so I might have to put a lock on the frig to stay away! Well hope everyone has a great day. Clarita- it sounds like even though you didn't get to the gym, you still had quite a workout. I think moving is as much or more of a workout than the gym. Well take care all. Di

Hi everyone. I had a busy week so I haven't posted. I haven't even been logging on, no lurking. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm still maintaining, but I'm going to kick it up a notch this week. The daffodils are blooming and that means short sleeves pretty soon. I'm not ready for that, much less shorts and a bathing suit? Well don't go there yet!! DH is out of town (Sabrina is on duty). So I bought some Lean Cuisine and a bag 'o greens to get things started. I know it's not the best way but I'd like to see some progress.

Big CONGRATS to all you losers. Wow Di you did great. What a wonderful Valentines celbration Gennel.

Hello. Well, here goes the cycle again. I had trouble staying on track last week because of PMS. Munchies and chocolate cravings. And now that I'm pissed off enough to get back at it, it's TOM and no matter how hard I try, short of starving myself, I won't see a loss until it's over, and by then I'm too frustrated and I've given in to french fries and cheetos and M&Ms. Oh help. Well, not this time. I'm sticking to it through the week and I will be HAPPY next weigh in. So there.

Ciao Ladies,

I feel so far behind on these posts but my schedule has been flooded with activity. So please excuse me if I'm in and out of the loop.

With that said let me say to GRIZZLYCHICK, I feel your pain. I experienced the terrible NY blizzards of 1996 and 1998 and I saw on the news that this one is worse. I hope you stay warm and safe. (couldn't you just shoot GEN for being in sunny florida?)

Also, I want to let everyone know that I'm down 2 more pounds. a total loss of 4 pounds this chalenge but I'm still gunning for my 8.

Gotta go now.
