Still don't feel too peppy, this has been a major flare-up. But I am feeling better. All I did yesterday was go to PT and do a load of wash, and made spaghetti and meatballs with prepared items so no real work. Also got out in the pool, which felt good. Was going to houseclean today but am thinking better of it.
DONNA & LIVE: Think I must be the only one who hasn't welcomed you both. Sorry about that! I have just been doing the minimal. You will find a wonderful group of peole here, they really help each other.
TEENSY: It always gives me a chuckle when someone wonders if they're eating eough (I really know what you mean!), I figure that's why I'm here...or is it because I eat too much!?! Love huckleberries, think they more flavorful than blue. Where we used to pick you had to watch for copperheads and rattlers. Made it seem like an adventure!
for the wins.KEN: Thanks for the hug. I love typos! Cute that your dd has a "sunny" nose!
MONET: Glad your ears are feeling better. Thanks for the tip. I have been having tomatoes almost every day in salads. I do do regular exercises to keep as limber as possible. I did feel better after the pool. Have been neglecting that lately as it has seemed like so much trouble to change clothes. Now shoulder is doing better it doesn't really hurt to dress and undress so I guess I have no excuse now! When you have a flare-up do you feel flushed? I feel like I have a fever but head is not hot and AC is on!
JACKK:
You never know how the treatments will affect you, must be frustrating. Hope the after effects will be less. I don't take TPT, I went to PT (Physical Therapy). I am really sore immediately after, but it is helping. For arthur I take Celebrex twice and day, and when I am really miaserable I add some Ibruprofen. I have to be careful because of my stomach, I take a pill for my stomach in order to be able to take the pills for arthur! There are times when we wish we would have no desire to eat, but that changes when you realize how miserbale it makes someone feel. Prayers.PANCHO: My DD had an ovary burst and wound up having emergency surgery. Glad you went to dr. immediately! Pray that all will be well and it was just a fluke pain.
FILLISE: Glad Savannah is improving. Prayers continue.
ROSALIE: My kids had hamsters and one got out. We also had a cat......need I say more? Hope the Valeren helps your neck. It can be very wearing when something dosen't work right and the pain drags on.
Time to do some moving so I don't stiffen up more. Sitting here is not the best thing for me.
Belated FF:
Thought all you young folks would get a kick out of this as it will give you something to lookw forward to.! I assure none of these apply to me!
Many of us "Old Folks" (those over 40, WAY over 40 or hovering near 40) are quite confused about how we should present ourselves. We're unsure about the kind of image we are projecting and whether or not we are correct as we try to conform to current fashions.
Despite what you may have seen on the streets, the following
combinations DO NOT go together and should be avoided:
1. A nose ring and bifocals
2. Spiked hair and bald spots
3. A pierced tongue and dentures
4. Miniskirts and support hose
5. Ankle bracelets and corn pads
6. Speedo's and cellulite
7. A belly button ring and a gall bladder surgery scar
8. Unbuttoned disco shirts and a heart monitor
9. Midriff shirts and a midriff bulge
10. Bikinis and liver spots
11. Short shorts and varicose veins
12. In-line skates and a walker
13. Thongs and Depends
May good things happen
Shirley

everyone! So sorry I have been MIA again. I did go back to work & had not had a day off since.

. My eating was good to-day except for a few cookies that I had after dinner this evening. Just had a yen for something sweet with my cup of tea.
