It's weird about Fibre 1... there's no added sugar in it, but it's a bit sweet, eh?
I hear ya re: exercising in front of people. I work MUCH harder when I think others are watching. Even though they're NOT!

Hey! I don't want to be too optimistic, because I don't officially weigh in until tomorrow with the doctor, but I think I was wrong about the gain. I think I'm DOWN a pound! Looks like I'm down a total of 11. Knock-on-wood.

Hi everyone!! Hope you all are having a good weekend!!!

Our weigh in was yesterday.. I lost 1lbs and Julie don't lose anything, but she didn't gain and that is great!! it was a slow week but we are kicking it up one this week. We got our Turbo Jam DVDs on Thursday so we stated it this morning.. WOW they are hard but oh so much fun!! We were so beat when we were done!!

Gotta run.. just wanted to stop by and say "hi"!!!

Whew! I had gained a couple of pounds over the weekend with PMS (grrrrr) but they seem to have finally gone again. But, I drank sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooo much water yesterday!

Hi everyone - sorry I've been MIA for a while - kids were sick last week, and we were out of town this weekend, blah blah blah. I'm still not quite on a plan. But I am going through a major feeling of wanting to change, which is how it starts, right? Like I'm waking up from a long stretch of complacency. I'm generally disgusted with my life, and want to fulfill some of my potential. I NEVER should've moved back home after college, I NEVER should've buried so much of myself to please the DH, stuff like that. Does this mean I'm ready to really express myself and stop burying my feelings and discontent in food? I surely hope so.

Congrats to everyone on their losses. Nildee, I just started Turbo Jam myself! I really like it. I got burned out on kick boxing years ago doing Tae Bo all the time, but this is more fun, I think.

I got measured yesterday... I'm down 11 pounds, and have lost a total of 9 inches!

We're doing great, girls!

So at the end of the month I had a doctor appt. The first doctor appt I have ever been excited to go to for my entire life... (I can't wait to get weighed at the office, isn't that just sick!) and the office canceled. The doc will not be in that day. So, I'll reschedule it and just be have some delayed gratification...

But, on the bright side, I can lop off a couple extra pounds during that time, can't I?

la- too bad about the dr appt. keep yup the great work though!!

me?? well i've been a bit of a slack asser (hope thats not offensive to anyone) this week. not that i'm laying around or anything, but the past couple of days i have been skipping steps so to speak and just being a little lazy in general about water, food etc. i was just feeling sort of blah you know?? now that i know i am doing this i will try to work a little harder on sticking with the plan. i know it works, i am not ready to give up yet!!! i just have to do it all together everyday!! i just got back from the Y and i am feeling very positive again!!!

hope all the rest of you chicks are doing great!!! have a good evening!!

Default Where to start!?!?

Well... well.... heheheheheeee.... I'm pretty excited.... really really really...

Okay... it's true. I weighed in at 259 yesterday... and it's still there today!

As of today, this is the most I have ever lost on a diet (Slim Fast in college doesn't count, that was just stupid). As of today, this is the lowest I have weighed in almost ten years, at least since I moved in with my husband in 1998.

And the best part... amazingly, I'm still feeling really really okay about this diet. This 30 poundish area is right about where I decide I'm sick of it and can't go on living this way any longer and blah blah whine whine blah... I mean, I know that I have changed some habits and I am restricting myself and forcing myself to exercise... but I don't feel... denied, I guess is the word? I just feel okay with how I'm living now. It's not a chore or a burden it's just... what I do.

I just wanna get up and run around the block screaming! Maybe I should? Hehehee hee...

Shall we?
