Hello everyone!! I'm sorry I have been gone for a while but I have been so busy!!! I hope everyone is doing good.. and if not.. then everyday is a new day. START NOW!! LOL!!!

I had a good week last week.. I lost 2lbs. Julie (my partner) lost 5lbs so she is doing really good!!!

We started walking last week, I'm trying to walk for 45 minutes 3 times a week. Going out tonight for a walk after dinner. Thank goodness for TIVO!!

So far my week has been good.. I've eaten very healthy and I don't feel deprived of anything. I have wanted chocolate a few time in the past 2 weeks but I have been pretty good.. I had 1 Hershey kiss and that was it.. craving gone!!

I really enjoy having a place where we can all talk about our journey, THANKS!!

hi all

i'm a binge eater as well as a day long grazer. i am obsessed with food and think about it constantly

i have to think about my goals. reducing my bingeing is definitely one of them but i have to think about all the other things that will help support me in that i have soooo many bad habits - late nights, bad eating, bad shopping, poor planning, etc

ok so for now i think i will count my BF days and aim for 5 per week starting tmrw

Hi everyone, can I join this group? Ellis may remember me from OA checkins, and I think I've seen a few of you around - I'm trying to get control of myself for the long haul. I've been doing well this week for the most part.

I'm wondering, how many of you are on official eating plans? I see Nildee is working with her doctor, WW has been mentioned.

I considered starting WW with my mother - she's offered to pay for each week I lose, but since something about our relationship makes me want to eat, she may not be the best WW buddy.

Nildee, sounds like you and Julie are doing wonderfully - way to go!

Lala - I look forward to having that kind of control with chocolate - for now, I just need to stay away from it.

Tracy, welcome back!
I'm on a regulated plan. It's doctor/dietitian/trainer-supervised, and it's so good.
Mother/daughter relationships can sometimes be tricky things. I hear ya, hon.

Nildee, congratulations to you and Julia! Keep up the good work!

Stacey, you, too!

Lala, I hope you're enjoying your holiday.

Sweet Pea, you're smart to take it slow. It's just about impossible to tackle all of our problems at once. Good luck, girl!

How's everyone else doing?

I'm seeing my dietitian today, and will get weighed. Hoping for good results!!

Thank you everyone for your support!!

Tracy - My Mom offered to pay for my visits to the doctor, but I realized that I had to do it for me.. and the constant reminder that I had to tell her how I was doing was a little to stressful for me. If you want to find someone that you can do WW with.. think about going alone at first and meet someone there.. you know that they will have the same path as you and you won't feel the stress.. that causes overeating. I have a few friends that are doing WW and they love it!!! It's a great plan. Remember that you have to move too.. exercise is very important, so maybe your Mom would be a great walking buddy!!!

Ellis - Good luck today!!!

Hmm, I need to look into whether my insurance will help with a nutritionist. I think that would be the way to go, for me. I've done Weight Watchers before, and I don't have a lot of confidence in my ability to stick with it. Not showing up tends to be a problem for me.

Nildee - exercise is going fine - has been for quite a while. I typically do two total body workouts with weights each week and cardio 3 or 4 days per week, and maybe a yoga thrown in there. It amazes me that I can be so positive in this area, but not necessarily in the others. You'd think it'd take more energy to work out than not eat.

Had a bit of a pregnancy scare this week - but the test says negative. Sheeeew! I hate it when that happens - there are too many conflicting emotions.

Ya'll take care!

Nildee, congratulations, hon!! Two pounds for me, too!! I'm down a total of nine.
We are FABULOUS!!!

Tracy, I'm sorry about the scare. I hear you re: conflicting emotions.
It would be great if you could get in some visits to a nutritionist. I really like mine.

Jodi? Is that you? Welcome, hon!
Three weeks in control? Shut UP!!!!! Good for you, girl!!

Just had a wee nap. I feel like eating a large fast-food restaurant, but I'm slugging back some water instead. sigh. Talk about self-control.

LOL, Ellis, fatigue is a big trigger for me, is that what was going on with you?

Congrats on the losses, girls. Very awesome!

Still no TOM, I took another test this morning just to be sure. Still negative. Kinda sad - I know the only way I'll have another is by accident. And in my head, I was already thinking about names. (Bridget, I think.) But I'm really at a much higher weight than I'd like to be for another pregnancy - so maybe this is a wake up call to lose some pounds, and then we can consider conceiving again in the future.

That's my perspective and I'm sticking to it!

Hiya Jodi - I know I've SEEN you, but I don't think we've been on the same thread before - hope to know you better!

Cardio time for me, see ya'll later. (A pear doing step would look more like me, but the carrot will have to do.)
