Ellis,

Good job on the healthy start to your day! I am just finishing off my salad for lunch, I swear I eat more vegetables now that I have all of my life.....hmmm maybe that was the problem...... (it wasn't that funny but that laughing guy cracks me up so I had to use it!)
Good luck with your 6500 steps today, you can do it! Tonight is my bike workout......blah I hate the bike, I have to find something new to do!

So, in the spirit of keeping things positive.... I have had a really good week this week. It's odd, I found myself listening to the 80's station today and boogie-ing around the house and singing loudly and off key to my cat - who was quite perturbed by the crazy woman holding him, singing to him, and patting him in time to music. He put it up with it pretty well for about four songs before making his escape, the little dude really craves the petting! Just to give you an image I was sitting in my computer chair, cradling the cat, and suddenly started singing "I'm All Out of Love" quite obnoxiously at him. Followed by "She's Got the Look," "I Love Rock & Roll," and something else... no, I can't remember it just now.

Anyway, after a while it occured to me that... I was happy. Honestly just plain and deliriously happy... while on a diet! What's up with that? Who am I and what have I done with the real Lala? Please check your closets and if you should find a short, round brunette, please contact me immediately.

Hi everyone,

Well I lost 2 pounds this week, getting closer to my March 20th mini goal! I also bought the Biggest Loser workout dvd (yes I am a little obsessed with The Biggest Loser show )and it is pretty good. I could only do the Low-Intensity Cardio workout, well some parts I could barely do it But it was really good and I was happy with myself!

lol! I was shocked when I found myself really happy with my diet, too I've developed a taste for health foods! The lady at Wal Mart thought I was a vegetarian because I bought a bunch of Boca Burger and Gardenburger stuff. Hee hee. Congrats though <3

Stacey, congratulations on the two pounds!

Lessthan, too funny about your Walmart experience. There's some good veggie stuff available now. I remember only a few years ago... some of it was just HORRIBLE.

I've had a rough week and haven't lost weight, but I got back on track yesterday with my food and exercise. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good week...

I'm feeling good this morning! Still aching slightly from my workout on Saturday, and I've got another exercise class today.
AND I just got back online (spent two hours installing a new modem this morning... CURSED THINGS!), which is a huge relief. I was having a panic attack.
AND I just got some good news about some money back, so everything is rosy at present.

I hope everyone is having a great week! Let's keep it up, girls. Be good to your precious bodies...

Well... good and bad today. It's that TOM and when I went to the grocery store I was literally prowling the aisle for junk food. I actually picked up and then put down several things, different kinds of ice cream, a bag of cookies, nearly raided the Brach's dispensers.... sigh. Finally, while cruising the candy aisle, I spied a tiny square of the Ghiradelli (sp?) chocolate... not a whole bar, just those little single square things. I did get that, ate half, then put the rest in the fridge for tomorrow. Not so bad, I guess. I'm not beating myself up about it or anything, I just want to say I did it so that I don't feel like I'm slipping back into the whole "secret eating" hole.

Hi Lala,

Once in awhile you have to give into a craving! You did a great job, you only bought a small chocolate bar, where you could have bought a king size! I am glad to hear you are not beating yourself up over it, as you shouldn't you did awesome as you ate it in moderation!

Good morning! Thanks for the pats on the back!

Wednesday is my official weigh-in day so I have updated my weight ticker today.... one more pound down! Happy dance!!!! My goal has been one pound per week. I got a little off track by "faking it" in January, but I am really getting into it now, thankfully.
