Sounds like all of you are doing great!

Unfortunately I didn't do great yesterday, but I have done my exercise for today already so I wiill just count today as day #1.

Guess that means I'm 10% of the way there! =)

Default day 1

well this would be my first 10 dan challenge. My challenge? That would be to walk atleast 3 miles a day and to drink only water. So far so good, that is all I have drank today and I will go walking once my daughter wakes up from her nap. Yes, it seems simple enough but to stick with it is another thing. It is 10 days so that should be good for now.

Default 2 down

Hey everybody. thanks for the welcome!!

So, I have 2 days down (too bad some of the weight didn't go with it)
I have been following my WW plan for 4 days now and haven't even lost a pound! Was a little depressed today about it, but since I have been on the board I have started to feel better.

8 more to go...still keeping strong.

Wink taking a small breather here. . . .

Hello people. Yes, I'm taking a day or two off. Already had a day off yesterday and pigged on sugar. It was great but I felt sick. Going to jump back on the wagon soon, but not today (Saturday). And I'm going to add something new to my challenge as well. Will let you all know later. I'm sure you're all on pins and needles!!

Welcome to the newcomers and a big to all of you who have made a success of your days. You see, you CAN do this and that's what it's all about, day by day. Eventually these one or two days of success, or like some of you, a full 10 days will start to stretch into weeks and you'll be on your way to big changes.

A special thanks to those of you who have taken the time to reach out and write some words of support individually to others. That is what this thread is really about but I can't always be there for everyone. Things have hit an extremely hectic phase in my days again. The work, the deadlines, the requests and pleas are at a peak again and I'm juggling them. Most of the things I have to do for myself, exercise, eating well just have to slide. I hate that but sometimes it's necessary. Always trying to bring that balance back into my days though despite everyone yanking at me from all sides.

Take care all and keep it up. I am reading your posts and sending you encouraging waves of energy!! Go for it!!

Well, today is my 10th day of my own 10 day challenge. So far I've lost 3.5 pounds and have conquored some pretty ferocious cravings. I mean, I got to the point one night where I must have read fifty different nutrition labels on several candies only to get frustrated w/all the fat and decided against all of them! I've managed to keep my calories under 1600 for the past ten days, whic his about 1000 calories less than I normally ate. Suprisingly though, the food choices I've been making have been enough to keep me satisfied. Also, in regards to UnCafe's reply, I too have quit eating after 7 pm.

Default Yay 3 down

Yay!! I got 3 day down. Last night was pretty hard though. My Lovely boyfriend brought me a parfait from Steak 'N Shake (Vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, strawberries, cherry, whipped cream, and almonds) -- which used to be my favorite thing to eat. BUT I PASSED IT UP as soon as he gave it to me I took it and dumped it down the drain so I wouldn't be tempted.
So I am feeling soo much better today.

REDBALLOON -- thanks soo much for the words of encourgement on my other post!! That really helped me pass up the parfait. I was thinking about everything you said as I was watching it going down the drain. THANKS AGAIN!! I hope all calms down quickly for you.

SYNN1997 -- way to go on finishing your goal!! I bet it feels wonderful to have been able to complete a goal you are working towards. Good luck on your next goal. One thing that helped me a lot with making sure I drank my water was to keep a water bottle with me everywhere I went, even if I just got up from my desk to walk and get something. If I had the water in my hand it reminded me that I needed to drink it.

ALORA -- Congrats on your weight loss!! You are doing such an awesome job. Just keep up with the good work and you will be at your goal in no time

Good Luck everyone with keeping their goal today.

Default day 2... so far so good.

well I didn't do exactly 3 miles yesterday but I did do 2 so that is alright. Today I will make up for that when I go for my walk. That way I can catch up. I also am drinking plenty of water. I did do my Taebo and my curcuit training so that is good.

Day #2 down!!! I went to the college gym and walked/ran two miles on the treadmill, stretched, and did leg lifts and crunches.

I'm 20% of the way there!

Congrats to all of the rest of you who are doing so wonderfully!
