Hello all,
I was good yesterday- made it to my double fitness class. The commute home was not enjoyable but I am not going to let the commute block me from going to my health club on weeknights.

The scale has been cooperating lately. Yay

PandaCupcake,

My bra is driving me nuts. I've had to rig it so it's tighter. I can be resourceful when need be.

Glad you are working out. It always makes people feel better when they are proactive. I do, at least. You're doing great.

Sweet dreams.

Hello everyone,

The weather here is dreary, chilly, cloudy, and raining.
I’m trying to track down a package that was supposedly delivered yesterday but hasn’t materialized onto my doorstep. I hope it turns up soon. I did report it as missing.

Update: I just received my package, hooray!

PandaCupcake - glad your package came! It's dreary here too. Snow in the morning, about an inch.

Lisa would love to see a scrapbook page that you created, sometime!

Flower I'm so sorry to hear about the good friend that is moving so far! lol at the tea leaf reading you should just interpret good things always Yes the weather-guessers are saying a high pressure system moving in this weekend, sun will be awesome! but they're taking away even the 50's for us, high 40's. Work situation is improving as we're all getting used to each other. But REALLY looking forward to my beloved summer job!!! and my motorcycle

If any of you ladies have access to getting youtube on your tv screen, i really like Pahla Bowers, she has hundreds of free vids that are so varied from gentle to strenuous. I just did her 75 minute 5 Mile Indoor Walk.

Not much time to write personals. But I liked reading what people wrote.

Holly, IDK how I missed your post about the bonuses and plans to have you take on more responsibility in the bakery. Glad you have a summer job you love so much. I LOVE summer. My favorite month us May. It holds all the promise of summer months to come. Even though they are fleeting.

Pandacupcakeglad your package arrived safely.

Lisa I hear ya re: bras. Mine are not that bad. But I do not like bra shopping...at all! And tie the day that I will have to do it. And I don't even want to think about ever buying a swimsuit.

I am typing this on my iPad. If I go to the previous page I will lose what I wrote. I hope I didn't ignore anyone. If I did, I will post two messages tomorrow

Dinner with my friend was awesome. The food was great. Not humble about the meal I made tea leaves were fun. Friend brought a couple of angels she didn't feel like packing for the move. I collect angels. Can never have too many.

Thanks everyone for being so great. I feel so fortunate to have found this little community of caging supportive people.

Hoping you all have a great Friday. Just looked out the window. More snow

good morning everyone! I will make my own sunshine since there is none here

Flower I'm glad you had a nice dinner with your friend! and yes I would think one could never have too many angels

BOOOOOO to the overnight snow!!! we got another inch. it's covered up what melted yesterday. So discouraging!!

Month of May is my favorite also, well maybe June, because it's even greener by then, but May because yes, it's the start

I had my day off yesterday, so today is technically my Monday.

Hello to everyone else

I am very excited, I just posted a bunch of days off (on my dept’s online calendar).
Last year I took time off in sept to basically catch up with a home project and then meant to take some time off for the holidays but didn’t and now poof- it is April?

We have “unlimited” vacation time but the past few years I seem to take less and less time off- time just runs away from me; it gets busy then I feel like I shouldn’t take time off when there’s a load of work to do.

This year money is tight for me and I don’t have the bf, so I don’t have any trips planned. If I get somewhere nice for business travel I may stay an extra day or weekend to sight see else I will use my time off as a staycation- play local tourist or places within day trips. Yay

My OH can't catch a break today he found out he has osteoporosis in his spine. It's linked to his celiac disease, but he must have been sick for a really long time for it to get so bad. Lots more to figure out!

I’m sorry you’ve received this news. I hope the doctors have good treatment options or something to make him more comfortable? I don’t know anything about this condition.

Coop,
I have it in both knees. If you have insurance, physical therapy can help his back pain. They can work on strengthening the back muscles to further support his spine. They can give him shots too, I think, to help the pain.

Take some time for yourself, panda. You work hard, job and exercise, both. You deserve "me" time.

I thought about going to a travel agent and booking something for next year. I think you can make payments to take trips. Well see. It's not a priority but it's something I think about.

I'm going to rig my bra tomorrow. I'm going to sew those little catches on it so I can pull it tighter so the girls arent so loose.

You talking about food and I'm sitting here hungry.

We are very glad to have you, flower.

Good lord, Holly. That makes me tired just reading that.

I'll check her out.

I'm in a good mood tonight.

I've learned that when things get bad, reach out for help. The worst thing that can happen is it doesn't work out.

2 days ago, I made several calls around town looking for help with putting gas in my car. I was on the phone almost all day, leaving messages.

Today, a local charity filled my car up. $40 worth of gas. I sit here tonight feeling blessed. This enables me to get to my appointments the rest of the month. Appts that I need to go to.

Food is still tight right now but having gas in my car let's me drive around to places that help with food.

The weight on my shoulders is lighter.

I made homemade applesauce tonight. I'll let you know later how it turned out.

Much love to all.
