For Locks of Love you need to be able to donate at least 9 inches.

My best friend does it every year - she grows her hair out and then gets it cut chin length.

I guess if you don't want chin length it does have to be very very long.

I knew it was alot...my hair is just so thick that it gets heavy after awhile and washing it is a pain. That is so wonderful that your friend has done that so consistently. I can't imagine going from that long to that short every year.

My hair is actually kinda wavy naturally, but the weight of it pulls it out straighter. I got talked into a much shorter cut a LONG time ago and it was a disaster. My hair basically lifted up higher than expected with the waves and I ended up with what looked like a boy's bowl cut. Horrific.

Misplace, I love the hair! It looks good and totally suits you! I'm jealous of your wavy hair! I chopped mine off a week or so ago and it feels so good. I needed a change. I'll start growing it out again, but I needed something new.

So my friend and I just signed up for 4 fitness classes! Starting in May, we'll be going to classes Tuesday (2 classes on Tuesday!), Wednesday and Thursday. I'm excited, it will feel good to get to the gym on a regular basis. We're going to hurt though, but it should be good! Hopefully, we'll be bikini ready after all of that!

Seriously? 6 pages already?

I'm thinking of doing some yoga tonight to switch it up. I'm just so stuck in a rut that I don't want to do anything anymore. I feel like I'm also bouncing between 226-227 but I don't even know. BLAH!

I also can't stay away from the dang m&ms at work.

Shantroy - that is too funny, I youtubed the song - I love it! I have been with my b.f for 5.5 months now and I can picture us being just like you and your bf and I think thats fantastic!

Jess - I want to go to Floatopia, that is so neat! thanks for the pictures! I wish I was there today, its sooooo rainy and cold here today, it sucks. It feels like mid-November!

Icon - I just got a new ipod Tuesday and got hooked up with nike+ipod, its pretty freakin cool I think! I'm a fan, only set it up yesterday so I'm not quite sure of all the features but I'll get creepin tonight!

Feral - I missed you too!! I'm glad you had a good trip! Sushi- I wish I liked sushi, perhaps I just haven't found the right kind? Maybe someday!! TOM is on its way for me too, lol, funny how we're all running the same cycle! I know it can happen with chicks you hang out with frequently but its funny how we all seem to be running the same cycle on this forum too!! Creepy, isn't it?

misplaced - great pics! your hair looks super cute!! Makes me wish I had long hair!!

Luvja - Hey Lady!!

Now for me, the weather here is terrible - cold, like +1 or something stupid and raining!! yuck! Tomorrow is supposed to be half snow/half rain - wonderful! I hurt my back last Tuesday, went to the gym Wednesday (because I'm smart like that) and hurt it even more, took Thursday off, Friday is my scheduled day off so that worked out okay, Saturday morning I went to ancient breathing for some stretching and walked walked walked cuz it was beautiful out, walked 5 miles Sunday and took yesterday off because my back was KILLING me! Today I told myself **** or highwater I'd go to my MMA (Muay Thai) class...BUT when I got home from work my back just ached and ached...like a sign - don't go to Largo you freaking fool....So I went down on the treadmill for 30 minutes and took a muscle relaxer and here I am. I feel like such a horrible failure for not going to the gym but really isn't it better to fix the pain and get back to it than it is to get worse and miss even more days?! I'm hoping to get back tomorrow...I think I'll go anyways no matter what and just do what I can and not over strain myself, plus it'll be a hard class anyways since I haven't done it in a week. ughk! This sucks!

I'm on day 6 of not weighing myself - and I'm thinking this is tougher than quitting smoking! I just wanna know my weight, but not really cuz TOM will be visiting in like 3 days so I'm probably up so I am better off keeping the scale out of sight, I mean I have no idea where it is and my dad isn't giving it back until 4 days after TOM which will probably be next Saturday, but I'll be in Boston so I might wait until I get home or the morning before I leave! ughhhhhhhkkkkkkkkk damn scale! Although, I'll admit, I do feel a little bit of freedom since I don't have to look at that number every morning. I know in the long run this is better for me, but for now, it sucks!!

PS I do not like rainy days and they make me snakey, lol, and today is my "low" day of zig zagging, which is probably a good thing because rainy/cold evenings make me want to eat and I can't because I only have 140 cals left for today!

I ate like crap at that baby shower thing and I couldn't breathe so I wasn't able to run very well - at least not the mile I wanted - so I did intervals for 20 minutes then the stairmaster for 40, along with my usual squats, etc. Let me just say, I think I sweated out about 4 lbs of water. It felt great, and even though I'm over calories I feel amazing. If it's warm out tomorrow I might try running outside. Sorry no personals, I can't get on the computer at school. Boo.

The haircut is awesome! I love it Totally fits your face. I need a haircut soon too but then there would be no pony tail to match. Boo.

Stella - When's the half? I'm interested in running it. I figure if I have running goals, I can't fall off the wagon. And where are you in Maryland? Closer to DC?

Feral - WELCOME BACK! Hope you had fun in Hotlanta. Eat any bbq?!

Jenny - FIX YOUR BACK. It's better to have a few days rest (and solid rest at that!) than to go work at the gym and hurt yourself even more so you're out for even longer. Definitely stretch as much as you can.

Jess it's in Disney World - it's the Disney Princess half marathon.

I'm in Gaithersburg, currently. So yes, close to DC.

Jess- You go to HOTLANTA to eat fried chicken a waffles duh... lol NC is for BBQ

Misplaced- Love the hair, my hair is VERY thick and curly and I have found that I like it soo much more short...however I always flat iron it

Sam- thats normal... just keep trucking...or as in finding nemo...just keep swimming

Jenny- I hope your back feels better yes its better to fix the problem rather than make it worse

Today everything was against me... I forgot my water bottle and didnt have any cash so I was waterless at the gym... the stairmasters both had people on them...no one is ever on them but me... wtf?? so I did the elliptical for 10 minutes and then the stairmaster for an hour... omg without water that is like death... burned a lot of calories though

I studied for four hours during work today so that I could come home and read my book because it is so very good and I'm so excited about it

Ugh this week is already pretty craptastic for me. It's State Test Time up in Massachusetts so I have panicked students and panicked parents. I had to write 2 midterms for a class and I have an exam Thursday. And then I got a cold sore. Pile it on, lol! So the gym has NOT been in my life. I need to get back at it. It's getting nicer here so I will be riding my bike and walking more!
I finally got my TOM (my weightloss screwed my schedule up!) and now I feel like...blah. But happy I got my TOM! Just not happy to see the bloat, haha.

Hopefully this week starts to look up! Seeing a cute boy Friday...

Jenny, we laugh because it will take a "Kick in the Head" for us to decide to get married. It drives everyone insane! All of our close friends are engaged, married or living together. Then there's us 3.5 years, not living together and only see each other a couple of days a week. We joke that we're so used to being apart, that we'll need to each buy one side a of duplex and just cut an adjoining door between the two master bedrooms! We're both too independent and stubborn!

We'll get married eventually, but it's not the right time for us. We know this, and we're committed to each other but the lack of rings drives everyone, especially his mother, up the wall. I just laugh. We'll probably run away and get married by Elvis or Spock, or some equally bizarre thing like that!
