Trending down on the cals overall, but wow was this a hungry day; on the other hand, it was the 8th consecutive day I've been back to consistently getting in the 12,000+ steps (an increase over 10,000), so that'll help on the cals in/cals out scenario, which I totally believe in. Hurray for cal cycling. Hurray also for lifting weights, lighter these days than they used to be, but such a tremendous boost to my health, stress relief and happiness, with the bonus being that resistance exercise does help out on the weight management front. A caveat, though, on anything I post here about my beliefs and practices regarding weight and fitness: they apply solely to me; I do not purport to tell others what they should be doing.

Sunday Scale Tale
Well, there it is, I had a loss for
three consecutive weeks, and am down a mere but GLORIOUS .2 pound since last Sunday to 134.4!
I'll take IT. Really happy with any and all progress in the right direction and feeling strong.

Seven Day Challenge, January 31-February 6
This week heralds a new month and it's Sage2's time to send her friend, the 2000 CALORIE LEVEL, out into the wilderness to fend for itself. Thanking the 2000s for all the pleasure and strength they gave to Sage2 and thanking the universe for the gift of that extra food. Sage2 will never regret having eaten it and never cease to be grateful that food is vouchsafed to her freely by said universe (well, it wasn't free but the availability of food is a blessing and a wonder and never a cause for stress or regret). But 2000 cals are not needed anymore by Sage2's body, mind or spirit. So here we go ...
