Started June 11. Today is July 21. 40 days - 37 pounds so far! Pretty crazy, huh?! In the groove.......

Motivators:
1.I'm wearing pants I haven't worn in 12 years. 4 inches off my waist in 40 days! 2 1/2 inches off my neck and 3 off my chest.

2. If I cheat one time with sweets, I'm out $90 in food and a whole week of progress. Plus another week to get back on track and back in ketosis!

3. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

I've lost 48 pounds in 15 weeks. Best diet I've ever done. (I cheat a little too but never with carbs.)

I love this thread! All of your losses are so amazing and motivating! I started IP six weeks ago and had to switch to alternatives a week later. But, with the help and support here I am down 20 pounds in six weeks. I am 57 and post menopausal. That feels so WONDERFUL! My daughter keeps saying, "Wow Mom, twenty pounds!". This is definitely a new way of life for me.

Just throwing my # in the hat: I'm a slow n steady, but even at that, 13 weeks and 31.6 pounds, makes me say WOOHOO!

Great idea! I am never going to lose at the rate I would have 30 years ago.....but I am thrilled with how I am losing now! You look wonderful! I can't wait till I get back in the "hundreds" it's been more than 12 years.

my counsellor doesn't feel i'm doing well. not sure why i'm not losing much. she just criticizes everything i do. like the diet isn't hard enough. i was originally 58 lbs. week 1 lost 5lbs, week 2 lose 2 lbs, and week 3 a 1.5lbs. very little inches lost. why doesn't she help me figure this out. frustrating.

Looks like yoru average on target so I don't know why she would be criticizing you. List what you eat in a day for us to see if we can help you figure it out You are doing fine!

i usually have the shake for breakfast and a coffee with little milk, 2c. cucumber for lunch and a shake, snack i usually have in the afternoon (usually the zippers), chicken or tilapia or steak for dinner and a salad, no tomato with WF dressing.

every time i come home from my wi i feel like i want to quit all together. don't know what to do.
she keeps telling me people are losing about 10 a week and inches. yesterday i got on the scale and i was down 2.5 lbs and today i was back up a pound. not sure why it fluctuates like this.

GRRRRR....ok....FIRST....DON"T weigh yourself everyday....Keep it to your Weigh in days ONLY!!! Second...there is NO WAY IN **** that people are losing 10lbs a week....UNLESS its their first week.....THIRD..NEVER...EVER compare yourself to others....this is YOUR journey, all of our bodies lose DIFFRERENT.....NO 2 people will lose the same. FOURTH....how much water are you drinking? are you getting in all of your salt and oil? FIFTH....IF SHE IS NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR 2.5LB LOSS THEN SHE IS CRAZY!!!......that is an OUTSTANDING loss, You are doing a wonderful job, Don't let her make you feel less than excited....COME HERE FOR ENCOURAGMENT.....TRUST ME when I tell you LOTS of people have bad coaches and come here for support
