Yeah, we had our first session today. It's really lovely there and there is so much to do. There is a gym and pool of course as well as jacuzzi's, sauna and steam rooms. There are tennis courts and squash courts and golf courses and lots of fitness classes to choose from. It's set in a really pituresque location beside a beautiful lake where you can hire a boat to go sailing and there are lots of cycle routes and there is a nature reserve there as well. It's lovely. My DF and I do not go away on holiday very often so we felt it was appropriate to have a lovely place that we can go to in order to escape the stresses of every day life and spend time together. One of the things about it that appealed to us most was that it doesn't get very busy - we aren't very keen on crowds. We spent time there today and it was really lovely. I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated now.

phatinvictoria-I was laid off one month ago. I have been on a serious lifestyle change ever since. Probably spending too much time on exercising and logging my food and exercise stats and not enough time searching for a new job! I have been better this week since I am not really up to exercising.
I'm sorry things haven't been so great for you lately. I hope you feel better soon. I think you are doing the best possible thing at the moment. I have bee in your position before and there is nothing worse than sitting around with nothing to do and feeling sorry for yourself. It just makes you feel depressed. I did what you did when I was out of work for a while - after moping around at first, lol - and it really does do wonders. I think it is good to focus on something positive within yourself but of course setting some time apart in order to focus on finding a job would be an advantage

I've been OP all week with my calories between 1300-1500 (one day 1292 but that was close enough.)
I've been at a stall for nearly 3 weeks. I had the 188.5 that I reported when I joined this challenge, but then it moved up to the 189's (I think it's been from .1 through .9) and have been stuck there for nearly 3 weeks!
I started 30 Day Shred in that time and I honestly think my body freaked out somehow because of it. So I've stopped 30DS for now to see if my scale will start moving again!
My body has definitely changed during these three weeks, but it's so frustrating to be totally OP and not have the scale move.
I've tried upping my calories for a week thinking I needed more calories due to the heavier exercise. But no budge. I usually aim for 1400-1600 per day.
Now I've lowered my calories to 1300-1500 per day and am sticking to mostly cardio with a bit of resistance work.
Anyhow, I'm starting this challenge a pound up from what I originally reported so I'm hoping and praying the scale will move down in the morning for my weigh in!
I am so with you on all of that. I've been stalled for a while also and when I signed up for this challenge I was 147lb. A few days ago when I weighed myself I was at 149! Thankfully after getting myself back on plan the last few days - and due, thankfully, to TOM - today I was 146.6. So hopefully by WI I'll have lost a couple of pounds. Here's hoping anyway! Good luck, hun!
