I did make them. They don't work nearly as well as the IP packets. But if I baked them longer ( I think 10 more minutes) than called for in the IP recipe they were OK, still not great. But I did make them several times. Let them sit in the oven for a while after you turn the heat off and they won't deflate so much.

I have some alternative products for sale if anyone is interested. It's all stuff I got from Nashua Nutrition, but I switched back to include some of my favorite IP products so I don't need these anymore. Let me know if anyone is interested.

SOLD Thanks!!

I'm just reaching out to you alternative IP folks for a minute. I've been on IP for two weeks. was doing 3 EAS DRINKS, 8 oz of protein, 4 cups of veggies (none being even semi restricted), 2 ts of olive oil, more than enough water, unlimited lettuce(sometimes none), 3 egg whites (I know they are now free and eat them for breakfast bc I feel I REALLY need them) and a cup of coffee black. Starting with week two, I replaced 1 EAS drink with a pure protein bar (usually mid day or at night) and have been using about two "squirts" of MIO a day. I lost 5.5lbs first week then another 2.3 as soon as I started the bars but for the past 4 days of week two, I've been back up to 180.2! That means I've lost less than 6lbs in 2 weeks?!?! Should I stop the bars and MIO?? Granted, I don't have that much to lose in general bc of my height but still, it doest seem right. I have been in ketosis this entire time because I have the strips and I check every few days. I'm just confused and discouraged.

I got my Proti-diet hot chocolate in the mail last week. Not a good report.

I usually put a dash of salt in my IP chocolate drink and microwave it and it's a thick rich yummy drink that feels like I'm cheating. The Proti-diet is so salty (I tried it out of the container with water nothing added) I couldn't drink it. It's also not as thick and decadent. I even tried adding some Torani SF syrup to override the salty taste, but no luck. I'm going to try to return it. The IP chocolate drink (powdered) is worth the price for the taste, IMHO.

I also got the Lemon Meringue bars. Good taste, but much smaller visually and didn't seem to fill me up like the IP caramel nut bars. But I'll keep these for when I need a change from chocolate.

Oh well.

Just got the ProtiThin (ProtiSnack?) chocolate chip sweet rolls today. I tried one out tonight, and it was okay. Not the best texture - very tough on the outside - but the little bits of chocolate chips were yummy. I might try baking for less time than it calls for next time and see how that goes. Only 7 grams carbs, so I'm counting it as an unrestricted.

Going to try the ProtiThin protein pasta tomorrow. I'll let you know how that goes!

Just wondering what your favorite bars are? They have definitely become part of my afternoon ritual with a cup of coffee. I really enjoy the Pure Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter bars.

The pure protein bars kill me. The sugar alcohol gives me horrible bloating and gas.
I use the simply bar now. Much better. No bloating. Not as yummy, but worth it!

Sugar alcohols can stall you. Cut out the pure protein bars and see...

My favorite are the ones I order from Nashua. The chocolate peanut butter is really good, as are the chocolate soy puffs. They also have a wafer that is AMAZING (like I would eat it off plan amazing) but it's a little higher in fat than other IP products so I limit those.

Giving it a few more weeks, depending on results, will probably go to alternatives since cost is becoming an issue. It looks like Pure Protein bars and EAS carb advantage for me. Anyone a regular with Lindora products?
