I have to laugh about too much water or drinking just before WI, I stop drinking water and hour before I go, and then run to the bathroom at the clinic, then hop on the coach's scale. I am sooooo sure that I have eliminated a least a lb of water that way. My coach just shakes her head.[/QUOTE]

That sounds WAY TOO familiar....my coach just giggles at me!!!

And guess what? You can't hold the car maker accountable because you've voided the warranty!

That's how I approached this diet. They promised me 3-5 pounds average weight loss per week if I followed the protocol... not if I KIND of followed the protocol. So I followed the plan and I lost as advertised. If I had chosen to tweak the diet for whatever reason, I figure I'd have "voided the warranty." Maybe I'd have lost at the same rate, maybe not... but I'd have relinquished my right to blame it on the diet if I didn't get the result IP promised.
I can't let this one get by me without saying - PERFECT analogy! I love it. You are my goal weight!!! I can't wait to get there. Do you have any before and after pictures? I'd love to see them. Thanks for this!

I have WI tomorrow. All should be good except of course not it's that lovely time of the month again. But it shouldn't slow me down much!!! Have a great night all, and I'll check back in tomorrow.

Hang in there, we're doing this, right???

isn't it awesome! did you find regular or the spicy kind? they're both a great snack. and yes, try your best to stay away from the bottled salad dressings-they noramlly contain tons of sugar or high fructose corn syrup along with other oils like canola and or/hydrogenated soybean oil(ick!). the other day i was out of olive oil so i used some of my old raspberry walnut vinegarette in a spray bottle that's 10 cals per 10 sprays and 1 carb-i did 5 spray to be on the safe side. my co-worker-who is also on ip-uses the spray ranch every once in a while bc she misses ranch so much, she's lost 29 lbs in 7 weeks so i don't think it's affected her much

justpeachy and ratfancy welcome!!

frannieyou'll have GREAT results next week-just watch!

queenjumbie just go but don't drink the beer

scrosson great idea on the soybeans on the salad, will have to try ASAP

Rocky Monarch i too have the same reservations about actually going to my original "goal weight". i'm a good 25 lbs away and i'm starting to think i don't want to lose anymore than maybe 15 more lbs. we'll see once i get closer, i don't want to lose my booty or the rest of my chest, my husband's already complaining

I loved it! got the mild kind, I am not a spicy kind of a gal...like my food bland I think its from texas believe it or not, brand id tex something or other.

too funny re too much weight loss, my boy friend the other day had a long coversation about too much weight loss. He thinks 130 is too much and I should stop at 135, I told him let me get to 130s first and then I'll worry about it. I think he is worried my face will droop

did I mention what my 84 year old dad said after not seeing me for 4 weeks?? "great that you are finally doing something about weight but now its time for your face, make sure you don't end up with wrinkles!"

love the guy!

something about edamame seems almost like you're cheating it's so good. love the "meaty & nutty" type chew, yum-o! enjoy! i just bought a pound of shucked ones today, have been buying them in the pod for weeks and really workin' for my soybeans

just made the vanilla pudding waaaaaaaay watered down and with a bunch of ice-SO GOOD! anybody that's missing milk(i'm not a big milk fan but it sure reminded me of it) should definitely try it

WI today..down 2.4lbs. Feels good after a couple slower weeks. This is my 12 week weigh in and I have lost 35.6lbs. I have gone from a 1X top to large and some mediums. Jeans were a very tight 16(sometimes with the button undone) and now they are a 12. People have really started to notice. That helps with the motivation. I doubt I will ever be a 4 like one of you(congrats), but I am aiming for an 8. I have a pair of capris that I have been saving(they were a favorite pair) and they are my motivation. I have 25lbs to go and I feel that the end is in sight. I have started walking 3 miles a day(thanks for that motivation CW)Thanks to all of you on this board for all the help, advice and motivation. It is so fun to read the posts every evening.
Newbies, I echo the advice to not worry about what others on the board are posting for weight and inches. We all have different bones structures, muscle mass, height and body shapes. Our bodies take on change differently. There are some on here that are my weight and height, but they are already wearing 8's and 10's. I'm not built that way, so I'll have to wait.
I'm still really busy with my census work, but I read everything.
