Mmm electronic food. I like the way you think Deena! I've always wished there was something that would feel like eating where we could just taste and savour stuff haha.

I need to go grocery shopping again, I'm almost out of veggies! I was tired after work today because I went downtown to meet someone I met online to buy concert tickets. It's a bit of a trip there and back. Good news is I will be seeing the Gorillaz on Nov 3rd!

Tonights dinner was a cut up tomatoe with cucumber and broken up bacon. I put a bit of mayo on it and mixed it up. It reminded me of a BLT but cucumber instead of lettuce. I liked it

Default Dinner at Ruby Tuesday's...3 net carbs

Yummy dinner at Ruby Tuesday's. Mall shopping and lots of walking, then some din-din.

I ordered the Trout Almondine and a double side order of broccoli with butter and lemon. It was excellent; I brought half home for dinner tomorrow night.

According to Ruby Tuesday's nutrition guide online, the order of Trout Almondine has 3 net carbs. I ate half an order; it's an Induction-friendly dinner.

I had thanksgiving dinner, I don't know the carbs though because I didn't make it myself. It was good and I ate in moderation.

Back on track today

Lazy, lucky me...Trout Almondine and broccoli left from my dinner last night at Ruby Tuesday's. I'm a fan of their Trout Almondine! It's delicious, super-low carb, and you get enough for two meals. What's not to love?

Default Chicken fried "rice"

I made this for the first time tonight. It was delish. I used leftover rotisserie chicken.

Fried 'Rice'
________________________________________
3 1/2 cups of grated raw cauliflower
3 green onions
1 clove of garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ginger
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 beaten eggs
Olive oil
Cooked chicken, shrimp, beef, pork, whatever.

In a wok or large flat skillet, heat enough oil to cover the bottom. Fry minced garlic (or garlic powder) with finely diced white part of onions for approx. 1 minute. Add grated cauliflower and fry 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add soy, ginger, diced green onion tops, and pre-cooked cubed meat or baby shrimp. Stir to mix well and brown a bit. Push mixture to one side of pan. Add more oil if necessary and scramble eggs in empty side of pan until done but still moist. Stir eggs into "rice" mix and remove from heat.

3-4 servings at 5 net carbs each (I know, not terribly accurate here, but I got this from another website)

I'm just going to say my dinner was NOT Atkins friendly. My fiance's boss is away until tomorrow so there's a delay with grocery shopping. I don't have enough Atkins friendly foods today, so I watched my calories really well and stuck to lots of water. I start induction again either tomorrow or the day after whenever my fiance gets paid so we can shop.

I am sure it has been heard of around here:

I also used some white hard cheddar cheese, and some classic American Cheese (1 processed slice) as well as some cheddar cheese... it was perfect, not too eggy or too cheesy, I used ground buffalo meat!

I was doing meat only, but decided to make a casserole for us to eat!

Sunday night I had zucchini lasagna, it was fabulous! I recommend it to anyone if you've never tried it. It's basically your ordinary lasagna using zucchini sliced pretty thin the long way layered in place of noodles. Last night I convinced my mom to make her Atkins-friendly vegetable beef soup again...it's fabulous. She simmers a bunch of veggies on the stove with stew meat for a few hours it turns into this wonderful rich vegetable beef soup. There's a serving in the fridge right now that I think I might go eat, lol.

Default Pumpkin for dinner...

I've been dying to try the pumpkin recipe Glamazon posted the other day, so I'm having it for dinner.

I'm making a nice spinach salad - cucumber, hard-boiled egg, red onion, homemade honey-mustard dressing and the pumpkin goodie for dessert!

I had a bacon and egg scramble with cheese, sour cream, and salsa. I ate my meals backwards today...leftover soup for breakfast, leftover zucchini lasagna for lunch and eggs and bacon for dinner, lol.
