Hi everyone! Congrats on the low numbers!! And Aud, I think you should be very proud of just maintaining. Maintaining is hard, especially when we've been in patterns of gaining for years. My docs are always happy with me for maintaining because with my insulin resistance I was gaining for years and *not* gaining was one of the first challenges and a significant step. People forget that, they just assume you can go from gaining to losing. Plus you're doing heaps of exercise so you're probably switching from fat to muscle which is awesome in the longer run, even if not so satisfying on the scale in the short term.
Steph, I think vodka and soda will be my new drink. I thought it would be awful but while it's a lot like drinking water - it turns out it's true that vodka tastes like nothing, what I've always associated as "vodka" taste must be lemonade and cranberry juice, neither of which I ever drink without vodka in them. Apparently, it's pretty much zero carb and since I don't really drink much unless I'm going out dancing, I think the alcohol will burn it off fast enough not to get cravings. Wine on the other hand, that sets up major cravings. I'm easing back into induction levels again and as always, feel better for doing so. Hopefully will be in ketosis by the end of the week.

sounds interesting and like something thing that is more natural to my eating habits... some days I will eat 2 meals somedays I only want one and maybe a few almonds - I've always tried to force myself to eat what the world says is right and look where it got me ... And as an example if I eat one good meal today the next day I may want a lunch and dinner... Then I might not want as much the next day.... Does that sound similar to what they mean?
I figure 2 to 3 months to get there with my normal loss rate...

being a person who hikes I can imagine you are sore all over...
Feels good to move my legs even though it hurts, if that makes sense.
I looked like that carrot in the bathroom a few minutes ago. A few more months till "one"derland.
Yay Rho. You lost 80 lbs.! Just to give you a perspective, none of my kindergarten students are 80 lbs, even the chubby ones. I think a 4th grader weighs 80 lbs. So you lost yourself a 4th grader.
