Kimbova, if you are having a hard time with craving carbs these first few days, you might want to cut out the tic-tacs. Their primary ingredient is sugar, and that might spark cravings.

Talking Wednesday's Woes

Okay....teeny tiny progress...200.8 - trying for onederland (199) by monday! (and it's a long holiday weekend here in Canada!).

Breakfast:
flax-o-meal cereal (2)
sugar sub (.5)
decaf w/cream (2)
=4.5

Lunch:
100 grams beerwurst (.4)
salad (3.6)
dressing (1)
=5

Dinner out (East side Mario's):
NY steak (0)
sauteed vegetables (4)
caesar salad (3)
dressing (2)
decaf w/cream (1)
=10

TOTAL = 19.5

Feeling depressed due to family issues and this is affecting my mood greatly. At least I am NOT turning to food (as I did during my carb addict days).....but I find I am hungry but don't feel like eating or cooking or doing anything at all....this is not good!

I guess that's what being depressed is all about - feeling negative, overwhelmed, with no end in sight and no joy on the horizon!

At least I can keep losing weight....maybe that will make me happier

Froufy I'm sorry you're going through some bad times. You are so wise not to turn to food for comfort. When you can't control the events or people around you, at least you can have control over what goes into your mouth.

Well, my third day OP but the first day without any nuts in the house (other than myself )

Pre-Swim
1 oz cheddar cheese

After Swim
2 egg omelet with cream cheese & 1 tsp green onion

Lunch
1/4 deli BBQ chicken
Raw cauliflower & red peppers with Ranch dressing dip.
2 small s.f. Freezies
(It is SO HOT here)

Dinner (planned)
Turkey patty in tomato sauce with sliced zucchini
Cucumbers in sour cream/dill dressing.

Snack
S.F. Jello & whipped cream

Good morning ladies,

Froufy-I'm sorry to hear about your family problems. I'm dealing with a crisis right now and what is stable in my life is my relationship with God, my husband and this WOE. As long as there's life, we will have problems, so keep your chin up, things will get better.

Well, day 4 and so far so good, even with PMS and TOM all this week. I've planned my meals everyday and it has really helped me stay focus. "Fail to plan and you plan to fail", what a true statement.

Jennifer-Thanks for the advise, I was thinking tic tacs were my life saver as far as getting rid of that sweet crazing. Today, I'm feeling pretty good about this WOE. I work a P/T job in the evenings so I'm tired in my body but not because of the low carb, just lack of rest but I'm off on Saturday so I'm looking forward to that.

Todays meal plan: 7/31/03

Breakfast- slices of bacon (0)
2 boiled eggs (1)

snack-pepperoni & cheese (0)

Lunch-meal replacement shake (2)

snack- pork rinds-1 small bag (0)

raw veggies (0)

dinner-pepperoni bite sizes (0)

snack-shrimp (0)
1 popcicle (10)

total carbs: 13

Have a great day ladies!

Default STILL FEELING CRAPPY.....

but trying to hang in....thanks for the kind words Kimbova. It is hard living with a teenager who has a mind of his own....I am almost giving up and this depresses me to no end! Also scale still hovering around 200.6 to .8 ....nothing much happening there!

Today's plan??

Breakfast:
Flax-o-meal cereal (2)
splenda (1)
decaf w/cream (2)
=5

Lunch:
salad (3)
dressing (1)
pepperettes (1.7)
=5.7

Nothing defrosted for dinner??? so no plans yet!

Maybe afternoon snack of mozarella cheese if I'm hungry!

Very bad/busy day at work and I am dreading it!

Guzzling water here too, although I have increased my coffee consumption in the morning from 1/3 cup to 1-1/2 of half-decaf. I think it revs up my metabolism.
Breakfast
4 bacon topped with melted cheese
1 egg

It's now 2:24 pm and I'm just starting to think about lunch which will be:
Chicken and veggies with Ranch dip

Dinner
Turkey burger
Mixed Salad

S.F. Jello

Here's a complete edit of today's plan....i havent a clue what happened.

But this morning I was planning on my usual eggs w/cheese, but for some reason, at 11:30 I realized I forgot to eat breaky.

So, lunch was like I planned, but dinner turned out to be kabobs done on the bbq, and a big plate of raw veggies w/dip.

I also suspect snacks will be none......Im just not hungry.

Ok, here is today's menu. I think I am drinking too much coffee. I don't think of that as anything, so I always forget to type it here, but I do have decaf every day. Sometimes alot! Does that make anybody else stall?

B Smoothie

L Cajun chicken salad with ranch dressing

S nuts, string cheese

D sauteed chicken breasts and red peppers, broccoli with lemon and butter.

S SF orange jello
2 bites of cheesecake batter, lightly sweetened (but still )

today 8/1/03

Breakfast-Pepperoni Bites (0)
cup of decaf tea w/splenda

snack-EAS Advantg low carb shake (0)

Lunch-plain grilled chicken (0)

snack-a handful of roasted nuts no salt (4)

I feel lighter today than I did last Friday so I guess that's a good thing.

Today's plan.............to make sure I eat breakfast before I leave the house!!!

Breaky, eggs w/cheese

Lunch, salmon patty (I better get a move on, I still have to make them before I leave) and some raw broccoli and dip, and some egg salad

Supper, I think we may stop off at the butcher shop and pick up some lovely porter house steaks for supper We dont do this often, so its a nice treat when we can induldge in it.

Snacks, If I have any, I'll add them later. Lately I havent been hungry at all, and havent been snacking.

OhOH!! I found the sugarfree chocolates at walgreens yesterday......Im going to save them for my tom, when my cravings get really bad

Not alot of time but wanted to stop in to let ya'll know - I'm still OP!!! (food wise anyway - I did have a couple of LC beers, but since I'm doing C.A.D., I was a weezer and only had one every 45 minutes! Not sure how that affected things, but I still feel good, no cravings, no bloatedness, and left off some other dinner foods to offset the calores. Hopefully I'm still okay amd losing.Who needs potatos or carrots anyway?

I sure am hoping to have more time over the weekend!

Hugs and good OP wishes to all.
