Prayers going up for all needs! Thank you all for the prayers for me and my family-it is helping, but I'm sure it'll take time for us to feel "normal" again. DH even told me today that it hurts more losing my dad than it did when his dad died in August-I think it's because we had time to prepare for his dad's death and my dad went so suddenly and unexpectedly. But, thanks again-you're a great group of friends
RONNI ~ yes dear, you are all still in our daily prayers; and yes, it does take some time to grieve the loss of our closest loved ones. I was just sharing with another lady in another thread that it takes a little time before you notice that it is getting easier -- about a year is very common. Now I just "shout out" to my mom and grammies or anyone else who is up there, as if they are here and can hear me. I figure my angels will pass a message along to them for me, if that is allowed and it helps me to feel better too

BOOTSIE ~ glad to hear that your brother is now eating and exercises; I think he was just upset being sent there, and that is understandable. Now that he knows that if he gets better -- that he can go home again and/or move closer to family, he will try harder ...
I hope so Rosebud, I told him all his doctors are up there and he said I will have to deal with the Lord for not coming to get him and taking care of him. His friend sent a picture of him and you can tell he needs to stay where he is, for health reasons. I just cannot handle taking care of him, its self would be a night and day job, and me working and running the ranch, I just cannot handle it. But he just does not understand, I hope God does.
BOOTSIE ~ while I understand how your brother feels, surely he wouldn't expect you to quit your job becuz who would look after him while you were at the store. You have already made that committment there with your DH; and since your brother needs extra care for now, he can get it there. If he were better and could look after himself for the time you were away that would be different ... and GOD is aware of everything that is going on, including your brothers health and all your present responsibilities.
Sorry to hear your cat, Crip, passed away, but it seems that it was fairly quick and he isn't suffering anymore. I had a cat that had the same thing after he was bitten by a neighbour's dog and the abcess kept breaking and making a horrible mess all over the place. Sometimes they get better on their own or with some meds, but sadly, sometimes they don't.
My Dad finally got back his 2nd Opinion on his Biopsy and found out it's a low grade cancer. Waiting know to see if his heart can take going through surgery. Plus, found out my Mom's sister Pat has her cancer back. So asking for prayers. Thank You!
