Rock on with your size 6!
Thanks Lisa! The experience really put a smile on my face and I am looking forward to staying in the 6's or even maybe even a bit smaller - forever!

No real Irishman/woman puts green in their Guinness! No need to add to their perfect creation

Guinness is one of my faves and definitely doesn't need anything to make it more Irish. You bet I'm happy Slip. I look like this:

Happy St Patty's Day! I am grumpy and unmotivated today. I was on evenings last week and the weekend and it must of just ZAPPED me! I am been in a bad mood. I weigh in tomorrow, and expect a great result, as I have been a good girl following my plan.

I decided today enough is enough. I have read some of the posts and realize this is just for a period of time and it's my time to get serious. I want to lose another 30lbs by June 1st which is totally do-able on IP 100%. I start tomorrow with my recommitment to IP and myself and this battle of the weight and self esteam. THIS IP PROGRAM WORKS so why do we not just follow it? My friend and an inspiration has lost 100 lbs on IP in about 9 months. Time to get serious!

Dlr, I am sorry that you have been struggling. I have stayed pretty close to 100% because I do not want to deal with a slip becoming a slide. Some people can do it, but I know my past track record with weight. I fully agree with you that IP works. I think the struggle comes with old habits, emotional triggers, and just plain liking some foods too much. Unfortunately, one of the most important things that I have learned here is that those choices/struggles never end. I think there is some fatigue with that. Every day, I have to convince myself that my health and weight loss is something I want more than pizza, wine, or a goodie. I think having my blood pressure back to normal is the difference for me this time, it has given me the motivation to stick to this.

Why do you want to lose the rest of your weight? What is your vision at goal? What is your motivation? Then stop, pat yourself on the back. You just worked a very difficult work schedule and you have lost 40 pounds!

Hope everyone had a great time during their weekend. I had a wonderful time out and about in Boston, but yesterday morning (we didn't come home till last night around 22:00) both hubby and I started feeling kinda icky. Seems we had a reaction to the dust/pollution/pollen (if that's even possible).. Devin is feeling better, but I've got the runny nose, feel like crud thing going on.

Stepped on the scale this morning (I was a little nervous because while I *think* I stayed on protocol, you can never tell when you eat out if there's something hidden in there that you didn't want), and it says 288. Seriously?! I'll take it.. hoping I feel better enough to hit the gym after my client today.

's for all that want them. I think I'm going to call it an early night and try to get some extra sleep. I don't want to end up really sick and needing prescription meds again!

Just back from my Weigh in: Lost 3lbs this week: that's a total of 43 lbs. Feeling Good, but wanting more. Dedicated and motivated to loss another 30lbs by June 1st, 2013. Is that do-able?

Definitely! Why wouldn't it be? I have 34.5 that I want to lose before summer as well, and I know I can get there. If you have that commitment and drive to get it done, then you should have no problem getting to your goals. We got this!

Seriously, reading through everyone's posts this past weekend (Especially Steph's) just made my day. It is so nice to see the IP Peeps reaping the benefits of all the hard work they're putting in!

DLR,
Depending on how much you have to lose, 30lbs is totally doable! I set myself up for 25lb increment goals. I don't look at the HUGE number I have to get rid of, just the next 25lbs. The fact that you've rededicated yourself to getting back on track and sticking OP will definitely help.
