dlr, if Mama's not happy, nobody is happy. You do need to take care of yourself. Glad that you are coming up with some ways to de-stress your life. A massage sounds great.

Funny Kooky, I am hardly ever hungry during the week. I think it is the boiled egg at lunch that diminishes my hunger. On the weekends, I tend to save my protein for dinner. During the week, I get up at six, eat or drink my IP packet at 7:00 on the way to work. Eat lunch (egg, cup of cucumbers and soy crisps) at 11:50. IP snack and tea at 4-5. Dinner at around 6:30-7.

I think you're timing your weekday eating better. I think I'm eating breakfast too early, so it sets me up to be hungry for a snack too early, etc. I do better on the weekends when I wake up later. I should probably wait until 6:30 or so to eat breakfast. I think 5 or 5:30 is way too early and I'm never starving when I wake up at 5, so I think I'll experiment with having my IP drink at 6:30 or 7.

My clinic needs to order the soy crisps...grr!! I keep asking and my coach doesn't seen to have any control over what they order. They order the same stuff over and over, but run out of certain things when they get a bunch of new clients or someone buys multiple packages of things. The office space isn't exactly huge either, so I don't think they can fit a lot in the IP room. I love my coach and doctor, but their clinic needs to be more consistent with their stock.

Hi everybody!! Peeking in.

I am on Phase three now and trying to maintain. A lot of stress right now. Our house is on the market, moving many hours away, my hubby got a promotion. I am happy with my weight right now. Maybe in the future when things settle down I might try for 145. I think maintaining is so important, so that is my goal right now.

You all are doing AMAZING, and are so inspirational!! Gives me lots of happy reading, catching up with the posts.
Take care for now!

Wine4me: sorry you are under stress right now, remember eating will not help! LOL. Good to hear phase 3 is going well, I think trying to maintaining is a huge part of the sucess, if we don't learn what to do to maintain it will never work. It is taking months for us to learn to lose the weight so why not months to learn to maintain.Keep going.

Horrible day at school. New standardized tests on computers, logistics nightmare. Complete attitude from a 7th grade girl in front of my whole class. And they delivered oil to my house. Going to turn it into an NSV because before IP, I would have been eating a pizza and getting ready for Ben and Jerry. Instead, I came home right after school. Got into my jammies and slippers and had my tea and restricted.

Slip: Sorry you had a bad day, GREAT job not turning to food to make it better! I think that is a huge NSV!

Don't reward yourself with food, you are not a dog!

I saw this quote a couple of weeks ago and thought it was a good one. I was one of those people that would reward myself with food. Not any more. I am realizing that food should not be a reward or used for comfort, the feeling will still be there. Hard realization to come to thou.

had my weekly WI today and down: .4. Not much but I have been under so much tension and stress. I saw doctor yesterday - said a lot of tension (head felt like my brain was growing)- hence TENSION HEADACHE. This week with be better for me. I will accept myself and set realistic expectations at work and home. IP is not the problem here, I enjoy the IP food and diet, it's the pace of life FAST that is sometimes the problem. BREATH!

Good morning! Where is everyone lately? Seems quiet around here, hope you are all doing well.

WI this morning, I am down .8, a loss is still a loss. I am happy with that since I was on vacation. Focusing now on getting to goal before summer!!

Hi friends. The parents left yesterday morning and I started back on Phase 1. It feels good to be back on track. I would love to lose another 10 lbs by the time I hit Phase 4 on May 15 but I am not going to worry about that too much. I will stay 100% until then and see what my body wants to do.

The weather here has been terrible. We had a small taste of Spring and then BAM, Winter was back with a vengeance. Getting pretty sick of the snow and cold. I am buying a used indoor cycle trainer today to start getting ready for cycle season - if it ever gets here!

I'm so happy to see you all still here, plugging away at this program. It looks like many of us are super close to our goals. I hope we can all stay in touch here - maybe start an October 2013 Maintainers group.

Steph: I was thinking about what was going to happen once people started to get to their goals, what about our board? LOL I would love for our board to continue. I do lurk in the daily and maintainers board but don't usually post in the other boards.

Success is not a race, be patient.

Lately I have been having a hard time with my patients and weight loss. Not with how I have been doing or how much I have lost but I have been feeling like I just want to get to goal. Anyone else?

Hi, it does get so quiet here, sometimes I feel like I am talking to myself. Newbies will continue until the last of us reaches goal. I made a promise that no member is going to be left on their own and I intend to keep it.

I am impatient to reach goal. I have had minimal loss for the past 2 weeks. It is def. slower closer to the end. My intention is to remain on phase 1 until the end of school (June 19th) or goal, whichever comes first. I think phase 3 will be easier when I am off for the summer. I really do not mind this way of eating, but I do miss a couple of things: olives, avocados and a weekly glass or two of wine.

Steph, we missed the snow, but it is windy and extremely cold!

Dlr, hope the headache improves soon.

Luccilove, you got hit with snow again!

Hey Slip, I miss olives, avocados, and red wine too. They will be there for us in maintenance and how sweet they will taste! I actually lost a bunch of weight following Jorge Cruise's plan and it included those 3 things. Doh! I chose IP though because I needed structure and accountability this time around.

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I had my WI today and lost 2.8 lbs and some inches. I'm officially into the 180's though, which is exciting, but I still have a lot to go. According to this tool I use online to track and project my losses, I should be finished with P1 in July or August. That's not too bad. I'm really starting to feel like I've been doing this for so long. I'm not sick of IP, but having to lose another 40-50 lbs seems a little daunting.

Slipfree- Congrats on not turning to food for comfort on your stressful day! I think you've made a lifelong change in how you think about food. I hope today was less stressful at work. Also, thanks for agreeing to not leave anyone behind. I will definitely want to continue to stay in touch with the newbies and feed off the group for motivation and hopefully help support others.

Want2B- I like your comment about it not being so bad to be in P1 since we continue to learn how eat healthfully which will help us maintain. That's a good reminder for me right now. I've really changed what I consider a meal and also what I consider being satisfied after a meal. It feels so much better to eat just the right amount of food and feel energetic after most meals rather than stuffed and bloated.
