My computer has hated me for the past day so I havent been able to keep up

Jess-I now wanna blog just for free stuff...this is not fair at all, Also I made fat free fried rice yesterday and today with the inspiration of you
Also you an totally be a beast on the stairmaster!

Stella- OMG you're totally a rockstar...the chick who I use to always see on the stairmaster litterally stared at me in amazement when I told her I do an hour on it

NSV- shes a stranger and she said that I was looking good and she could tell I've lost a lot of weight... shes just a chick at the gym...love it

AJ- I wont actually go off plan...I've worked too darn hard for that... I just feel extra hungry...however I realized that yesterday I burned a heck of a lot of calories and was at my minimum calorie wise... ut oh...that makes you bake chocolate cake just so you can smell it haha

Samantha- I looked at your grad dresses but forgot to comment... I like the first one... we had to wear black for my graduation so I'm jealous... also I have no alcohol tolerance anymore either...its kind of funny actually

Jenny- Glad you had a good trip and your back to the gym! Also you, Jess and I are all going to get to the 180's together!

Thanks for the encouragement and congratulations... Onderland is such a fun place... I never want to leave

Also I feel much better today... and I totally think weight plays with your hormones and emotions...bc yesterday i was just straight up mad

Today I baked a chocolate cake with homemade peanutbutter frosting... I have no clue if it tasted good because I made it for my boss but it looks yummy... I just needed to keep busy... and baking makes me feel homey and its always been me time...and I needed that

CONGRATS HALEY!!!

...I really haven't read any of the other posts. SORRY. Well, I skimmed.

Yesterday I saw 219.5 after a week and a half of 220.5. I didn't get my hopes up in case it didn't stick today for my 'official' weigh in. It didn't. 220.

Today I'm feeling better about yesterday and being in the 170s. I'm going to try to make it to 169 or lower by the end of May. I think with my kickboxing workouts, strength training, spinning, and my other various workouts I can really make it.

Today Roy invited me out for brunch with his family, and his aunt who is in town visiting, then we're off to the movies. I'm thinking I'll get eggs or something. I have no clue where we're going for breakfast. And it could throw off my calorie count for the day. Good thing I just bought some soup!

Have a great day ladies! Stay strong and stay positive!

Morning ladies! I'm half asleep so I'm not going to do personals, but ...

Jess - how did I miss the POM post? How do you even get sponsored by a company via blogging?!!??!!

Sam - where are these dresses? Must be on the same page as Jess's sponsor.

I was going to finish my coffee and hit the gym, but I've been summoned to go ride on the crotch rocket.

Jenny - I don't own a bike. They scare me, but I lost a bet a few months ago with my friend Marcus who has been begging me to ride with him for the past 2 years. Today is the day.

If i don't make it back... it's been nice knowing you girls! I kid!

Have a FABULOUS Saturday (and don't worry, I'll still be working out today at some point, even if I have to do it at home!)

Feral - good luck!! I bet you'll love it! Let me know how it goes

Haley - because of you, I am determined to try the stairmaster for one hour...mind you I never made it past 2 minutes but that was over a year ago! Thanks for being such a rockstar and an inspiration! PS - how's the boy toy???

Jess - air-mail me some of them brownies I bought Fage 0% and another kind of greek yogurt in the states... LOVE IT! I can't believe we can't get it here in Canada, its rare I can even find greek yogurt on PEI, thumbs down to that!

Stella - your a freakin machine! good work!

Sam417 - Too funny! I'm the same way...I used to be able to drink 12 beer and have a good time, now after about 3 I am absolutely domolished - its cheaper but it sucks too! I'm like you tho - can barely enjoy a beer when Im out for dinner due to having to drive. I figure if I start drinking more often my tolerance will get higher??? What do you think? haha

I'm off to buy a crock pot and cook some recipes out of my new Hungry girl 1-2-3 book!!

Have a great day girlies!!

That was an effing BLAST!!! The first half of the ride I was really tense, he kept telling me to relax. Apparently motorcycles are like horses and they feel your every move... we rode for I don't even know how long. Hopped off the bike for about 5 minutes and took a breather... that's when it suddenly came to his memory that "Oh yeah, I've never been on a bike before!!!" So he said I was doing really well all things considered.....

The ride back was much better. Mostly I get freaked out in curves when the bike is leaned over. I figured out if I just close my eyes it's fine. LOL

Here is the bike... and Marcus.

The only "bad" part of today was that we went for Mexican and I had some chips and salsa (no no for me), but the rest of the meal was on plan (way to justify that huh?).

I went to the Indian Market and spent wayyy too much money on stuff to make dhal but it will last forever, so that's good. The people there were soooo nice and so helpful. They even told me if I'm in the middle of cooking and had a question to call the store and they'd help me out. I'll def be going back there.

I just got home and my parents came in the door and wanted to know if I wanted to go for Mexican for dinner. I declined since I've been bad enough today.

Now I gotta get the motivation to go to the gym. Well, I'm not lacking motivation (*shakes fist at chips*) I'm just trying to get my lazy butt off of the bed to go.

The weather is SOOOOO beautiful here today. I hope it is wherever all of you are!!!!

the dresses are on the pictures thread thing.

I felt like such crap today. yesterday I went out to dinner with a bunch of friends that I haven't seen in forever. I had half a burger and a sam adams. My stomach HATED me after i ate it. Then I went to a party, and I had this huge sippy cup, and filled it with malibu baybreeze. Once I was done and back at my apartment I just felt so bad for drinking and eating all of that. I still felt bad this morning when the scale went from 144 the day before to 147. All water weight from pure stupidity.
AND work sucked. I'm a shift supervisor, but apparently the cashiers thought that they wouldn't be cashier for the day, so I was stuck up at register for 5 hours. then the other cashier called out FIFTEEN minutes before she was due to work. And photo lab literally exploded for 2 hours straight. (I work at a CVS pharmacy btw). So finally when I was able to leave for lunch I was just in such a miserable mood. Then I had a salad for lunch, didn't finish it, but sure finished the turkey salad (with mayo) that I had added to it. I was so pissed at myself. So when I got home, I went to the gym and sprinted 3.33 miles on the treadmill and was on the stairmaster for an hour. So at least I feel better inside and out now, and tomorrow is a fresh new day.

My body's effed up...

So I did that hour last night (but barely broke a sweat even though I was working REALLY HARD and was OUT OF BREATHE) but this morning scale didn't move. Well, it said either 174.4 or 174.2, because the first time I weighed and saw that number I yelled at it to go eff it self, then jumped back on. I'm a passionate (angry) woman sometimes.

I was helping Jess house paint all day, then went to the gym for an hour before it closed. I did 35 minutes on the ellitpical, 20 on the stairmaster then lots of push ups, still, barely breaking a sweat. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm working hard! I really am. I also ate like crap today. I had an egg white, sausage salsa sandwich on a bagel (feral that's what was spicy) then a sandwich from the Greene Turtle for lunch. I wasn't hungry for dinner, so I didn't have it, and god knows that's probably enough calories.

I'm at work now, printing stuff out for my paper b/c my computer at home is being a d-bag, then I'm going home to rest and I'm going spinning tomorrow morning, then I'll probably be here all day paper writing. Woo hoo.

Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Wtf is wrong with me :?

Stella, you just need a hug or a knife and a voodoo doll to chop up. Either one would work As long as you're working hard, that's great. Some people just naturally sweat less than others and consider me jealous. I need to deodorize like crazy (ew, TMI). And, you can do a push-up? Dang. I want to do one.

You don't sound like you ate that much all day but if you're not hungry, your body is probably right on the money. Calm down, take a deep breath, and look at it this way. It's been I think 2 weeks since the Memorial challenge started and you've lost 6 pounds. That's LOADS. Maybe your body needs an off week, and then another whoosh Just stick with it. I think you're doing the gnarly PriorFatGirl challenge right? That'll get stuff kickin'.

I believe in you. Just stick with it. And if you need me to send you a knife + a voodoo doll, I will.

That's the thing, I usually sweat buckets. I think it must be stress. I just have to get this stupid thing done, then I'll feel better. I can do a "girl" push up on my knees. Well, I usually do 4 sets of 15 - although that's getting too easy so next week I might go to 4 sets of 20.

I decided to go the easy way out and pick a really controversial topic - the mandatory MMR vaccine. Well, controversial for my teacher, not for me

The research is coming along well, and the outline as well (in my head).
