Feral: WELL. I had a rum and coke at around 8. Big cup of coke zero, a shot glass and a half of rum. And by a shot glass, I mean this tiny shot glass that's smaller than a normal one. It's shaped like an Irish mug. But really, it's small. The drink was weak. I enjoyed it and I was fine. at around 9:45, two of my roommates wanted to go to the gym because they couldn't get tired. So I went with them. I ran on the treadmill for 15 minutes at 6.7, and then walked for 5 minutes..and then I felt weird. I got off and started walking back to my apartment and realized that I was just a tad drunk! I guess from getting my blood pumping and just the fact that from losing 17 lbs my tolerance has gone WAY down, the rum and coke actually kicked in. So yeah, another one of life's lessons.

Feral - do you sport a motorcycle? That's hot! lol. Thanks for the encouragement! I'm okay if it takes time...it took me almost 4 years to lose 90lbs so if it takes 6-9 months to lose 10, so be it! I hope you have a fab weekend!

Jess - My trip was awesome! I went kayaking for my first time in CT, it was beautiful, I loved it - turns out my bf loves to kayak too (new summer hobby? I think so!) I shopped and shopped and shopped some more, got some fun summer clothes and bought alot of stuff for my brother and my boyfriend...too much really! lol. I also went shopping at Trader Joe's ...loved it! Spent only about 20 bucks. I got lots of groceries that we cant get here in Canada/PEI like laughing cow light cheese, flatout wraps, vitatops (I had a box sent to my aunts place for free shipping!) Chocolate cheerios (MY new favv cereal to mix with yogurt, yum!) crystal light packets, and gosh the list seems endless...thomas bagels (yummmy!) I probably spent more on groceries than clothes :O ! oh well!

I finally got back to the gym last night, it felt awesome to be back, and I thought I'd get my *** kicked since I was away from it for about 12 days...but I got paired up with a tough male and I kept up for the whole hour! My back is feeling better so I'll stick with that!

Any big plans for the weekend ladies???

Happy Friday Ladies!

Feral - I dunno, a whole bottle? No, just kidding. It was red Zinfandel that I'd gotten in Napa last year. I was attempting to finish the whole bottle after CB left, because I hate wasting wine, but I wound up just dumping the last glass. It never keeps well after opened, unfortunately.

Jenny - Yay for Trader Joe's

Samantha - Doesn't that suck about tolerance? Its like wait, 6 months ago I could drink anyone under the table. Now, one glass of wine and I'm like wooooooo!!!!

Chris - Be strong! You can do it!

Okay, so Wednesday I was 173.4, then yesterday I went back up to 174.4 and I stayed there. Uh, wtf body? So today after work I'm going to look at a condo around the corner from my gym, and then I will be at the gym, on the stairmaster. While drunk last night I made some fun iTunes purchases (well, hellooooo Ke$ha's new songs) so I will be busting my butt on that thing before I start my paper research. Tomorrow I may or may not go spinning, but I'm helping a friend paint her new house, and then I might go out in DC for a bit, depending on if CB can go with me. I'm not taking the metro by myself on a Saturday night, this is DC not NYC.

No hiking on Sunday because I have to work on my paper, but I'll go spinning and just keep the eating under control. I need to go get cherry tomatoes so I have something random to munch on while typing.

Come on 172....

Samantha - but there is a silver lining to being a "cheap date" I have noticed. no more "where did all my money go last night?" Or "did I really do/ say that? I don't remember at all." its bad buts so wrong, but I like being the one who says "yes hun you did. Here is the picture to prove it

Stella - hope cb can go. But I hear you on not going out in dc alone. I have met up with people in nyc and been fine by myself, but in dc, I make sure everyone knows where I am at all times. Good luck on your paper

Jenny - cleaning out my closet and outlet shopping. I have a lot of old clothes and it will be good to put them on one last time before I give them away

Seems everyone has a number they want to see on the scale this weekend. I'll throw mine in there and say 165. anything. I am tired of hovering. Time to land

Everlasting- I like them to not be frozen solid but really crisp. Just before they turn into icecubes =) BTW I found psparkpeople calorie estimates to be pretty off so be careful when counting on that as your only form of journal.

Feral- I am from Denver and I love it there. My family is there and I am a native so it will always be a favorite for me. I love grapes that are at that point too!

Stellarosa- Healthcare Administration is a fantastic career! My dad did it for 28 years.

Haley- Thats what I was affraid of. I have seen so many here at 3fc hit onederland and think that now they can maintain or cheat a little bit more. I mean you have come sooooo far right? Well then before you know it you are not dieting anymore and it slips away. Set a new goal... and charge forward!! You can do so much better than 198!! =) Kick arse!

Today is my last day at my job. Our department has been elliminated so... We are drinking. I know it is so not on my diet but we have never done anything together and I just feel like this is a once in a lifetime with these people! =(

I am cool with not working for a bit. Excited to get a tan and work out!

Have a nice day ladies. xoxo

Everlasting and Kelli - I'd get a new one, but I really can't afford it right now.

Star - My mom's scale won't read anything less than 20lbs I think.

Onderlanders - Yay, congrats!!!!

Thirsty Thursday-ers - I enjoyed that right along with you, at 24 hour happy hour in Atlantic City! Woo rum :3

The shore was a blast, we went to Wildwood for lunch and hung out there for a bit, then went to Cape May's Lobster House for dinner (soooo good), and then we ended up in Atlantic City! It was my first time there and I had soooo much fun there! I need to put pictures up in the 20 something's album.

I took a walk this morning, but I still have to do my lower body workout today. I should really do that before Erin gets here. Then tomorrow morning we're all going to see Clash of the Titans! And on Sunday we're going to the art museum! Lots of walking will be done on Sunday.

So... I guess I was in denial about being in the 160s? I did the dumbbell test on my mom's scale and it's accurate. So I'm really like. 175. Instead of 165, like I thought. Even though I was losing with my scale before it broke, and my mom's scale kept reading 172 from New Year's (because I like to double check them, I just assumed hers was on the fritz since I was losing on one and not the other). But you know what? Instead of acting out on how depressed this is making me feel right now, I'm going to go workout.

Right now I'm so frustrated with myself, the scale, and with Erin (but that's for different, personal reasons that involve her own bad choices that will now haunt her for the rest of her life and I have to play the good friend later). I need to take my anger out on a kickboxing session instead of a bag of chips or a bowl of ice cream.

Now I feel like the last few months with this scale has been a waste and a lie. And I don't have the heart to tell my Aunt, who got me the scale for Christmas, that it was a $10 scale for a reason. I found a relatively affordable scale on Amazon that has great reviews, so I ordered it. Until then I get to go back to reality world with my mom's digital scale. This time I'm going to keep a closer eye between both scales for any differences.

ETA: I'm just going to focus on the NSVs. I'm still wearing a size 10, which I never thought I'd be able to do. And I did move my rings over one finger each.

Mary - That really sucks about the scale BUT I am proud of you for not beating yourself up about it because OBVIOUSLY you are doing an awesome job! A size 10! That is awesome! I am in a 14.. and I just noticed we are the same height and I weighed in today at 171. I have a lot of junk in the trunk and my thighs are big so I always seem to be in bigger pants sizes than people the same weight and height as me.. weeeeird.

I need to get motivation from you and work out my frustrations instead of eating them.

Oh and good idea checking the scale with a weight.. hmmm.. I wonder how accurate the scale I have is. I am going to check it when I get home!

Shortandfluffy - Oh, I'm totally pear shaped lol - junk in the trunk and thunder thighs and all lol. If it doesn't work with the scale, try weighing yourself then re-weigh yourself holding the weight, and then re-weigh without it again after

Jenny - THANKS! Funny you mentioned VitaTops too. I should be getting free samples from them in the mail as well. YEAH! I want to see if Oikos will send me greek yogurt, since I can NOT find a freakin' place to buy them in San Diego. I've tried EVERYWHERE. Will try Trader Joe's again. I gotta see what's the deal with this Oikos hype. I did just have an epiphany and realize I will make peanut butter cheesecake POM brownies.

You trip sounded like so much fun! I have never been kayaking but I love canoeing (I know, they're different) but I'm glad you discovered a new hobby! Feels great to be outside now that the weather is nicer.

Feral - Don't worry. I have no money for Thirsty Thursdays but my 4 years in college plus last year abroad where alcohol was 8 dollars for a half liter of Absolut and first semester at law school. Yeah, I need a new liver. I hope you get some much needed sleep!

Samantha - LOL. I just laughed because I pictured myself running on the treadmill drunk. I would die if I tried to run at 6.7 drunk. Literally. Slip, fall and get a concussion or something. I'm sure it's because you worked out and got your metabolism sped up that you felt the drunkenness. Your body was trying to use your glycogen storage but since you put some alcohol in there, it used that. I'm glad you're ok It's better to be a light weight! It's cheaper and you're having fun before the rest of us!

I am so freaking tired and I am so glad that it's Friday!!! I have so much work to do this weekend (sped reports galore and grades to do this weekend), but I am watching "Just Like Heaven" and planning on passing out early! haha
