Looks like we are goint to be getting "sunny breaks" today; but still very high in the humidity department. Think I'll probably stick fairly close to home again today and do another 5K on the Gazelle. Weight managed to go back down to the 214.5 mark this morning, giving me an average for June of 218.8, so I will go and change my ticker to reflect that I have 'officially' nailed down a new, and lower, decade at long last. Probably a lot to do with changing scales, but I'm claiming it anyway.

Like you, Gail, I can tell where the headache was for the last couple of days although it is gone at the moment. And, as you mentioned, Liz, I can predict changing weather fairly accurately, too. I have been getting far fewer migraines in the past few years. I've always thought it was because I retired and my stress levels went down, but the aging process could definitely have something to do with it too.

Okay gang . . . have a great OP day and try to keep things moving and shaking just as much as you can . . .

I have an aunt that always had huge migraine issues, and she also told me that they've really decreased since she's gotten older. I think you have to completely get through menopause before your body starts letting up on the headaches. And I know what you mean about where the headache was in your head- mine always feels bruised and kind of delicate, like eggshells, afterwards. You just know that you have to be extra careful then, because the headache can come back easier during that inbetween time.

Had a big family party yesterday. There was lots of bad food, but I managed to somewhat control myself. It helped that I hadn't seen some of the people for a while, and they all commented that they could tell I had lost weight. That was a good will power booster!

That party yesterday was a good bye party for my husband's brother- they're moving to Kansas on Friday because he starts a new job there after losing his old one here. On Saturday the oldest son of a good friend moved, today my brother and his family are moving to Co for his job, my daughter is moving this Sat. This just must be the week! Besides missing everyone, that also leaves my husband and me as the only children around to help both sets of parents and my 90-year old great aunt. I just hope everyone doesn't get sick at the same time!

Hope everyone is feeling better today - I don't miss getting migraines (knock on wood).

Lost power yesterday - big ol' storm charged through town, knocking down trees & power lines. Didn't do my walk yesterday, but did walk down the road a couple times to see if they had pulled the trees out of the road yet. Got some reading done, while the sun was still up. Yeah, it doesn't burn calories, but it gives the mental state a mini-vacation!

Did walk this a.m. - added distance to my hour (it helps to have a great run of music on the Ipod!), gotta take a drive up there to see what the total miles are.

Well, I have a two day show this coming weekend, and have to get my hiney-butt in gear. Keep on movin' and have a great day!

Our old dog will walk on a leash...maybe I should "walk" her. She will walk along beside me just fine, too, but maybe the leash would inspire ME. The dog would think I'd taken leave of my senses.

I just had a piece of Marie Callendar's apple pie. It was yummy, but I was feeling sort of guilty about it until the gal that brought the pie told me that it is their "lite" version. I'm sure it is still bad.

We have had some of the most wonderful cantaloupe from the grocery store lately. I have been eating lots of that, along with cherries and apricots. This is a good thing. Until I started this journey, I really wasn't much of a fruit eater. I have learned to like lots of different fruit. I already liked veggies.
