I know that on phase 1 we are allowed to eat seafood, but my question is whether like mussels/clams in a wine sauce would be allowed....I know that wine is obviously alcohol but during the cooking process the alchohol is burned off....soo i don't know if its acceptable or not..any ideas?
Sorry, no answer, just wanted to comment that I've been confused at some 'Phase I' recipes that have wine in them. Even if the alcohol gets burned off, I'm not sure the GI goes down? Would be good to know....
