Hi Guys
Just checking in. Have not been on during the week have been very busy.. Well today is my off day and this morning I weighted the same as last week. I just pulled a sample menu of the paleo diet and may give it a try for 2 weeks... I really need to start doing some type of work out as I think that is part of the solution.... Hope everyone is doing well. |
sunflower take out the spaces between the colon and the word :) I see you got it for the broccoli :) Wow I love that you get to travel like that with your family. We haven't been any where in so long the kids don't even remember the last place we went which was only to Myrtle Beach :) My husband is supportive as far as telling me I shouldn't eat something but he doesn't want to eat healthy and truly does need too as far as weight goes. He's too thin and so are all of the kids but one, the one that is working with me right now :) Lol sunflower most people just go on the introductory thread and welcome everyone to 3FC that is : wel3fc : again take out the spaces and you'll have your twenty :)

Rennie, you'll get through it, set point or not! I have faith! :D Joe, have a great cheat day today! The hard part for me on weighing only once a week is when I have such high hopes after staying on plan for a week and then I see no change or even go up on the scale. I know it's just water weight but it's so discouraging! But for some reason, when I weigh everyday and can see the daily fluctuations in water weight, it doesn't bother me! I can start out the week with my weight lower than I end up, but if I can see the trend along the way that led to that, it's like I understand, and it doesn't upset me. Weird I know, lol! After all, the same thing is happening when I stay off the scale for a week! I'm just not watching it happen each day! :dunno: Isn't it funny how some people are bothered by weighing only once a week and others are the exact opposite and are bothered by weighing everyday. I've even known people who weigh only once a month! That would drive me crazy, lol! Anyway, I hope you have great luck trying the Paleo Diet! If I am correct, it differs from the Slow Carb Diet (basically) by not allowing legumes but allowing fruits, and then of course not having a cheat day. I think having fruits would be wonderful!!! But I'm definitely not willing to give up my cheat day, lol! :D |

Checking in, Pumped, feel great today, awesome night's sleep , been on the go since I got up, gunning for the 160's @ tomorrow's weigh in. My love handle's are dissapearing! :)

Oh my gosh, y'all, I ate too much candy! Ugh! I feel like a kid on Halloween! I think I'm going to pay for this. I won't be surprised if I get a migraine or if I have a hard time getting my cravings under control tomorrow. I won't cheat tomorrow, you can bet your bottom dollar on that, but I will be tortured by the cravings...unless of course I do end up with a migraine and feel too sick to have cravings! Why do I do this? I've done it before on cheat day, eaten too many sweets, and I regret it every time. <sigh>

I have had to resist Krispy Creme doughnuts sitting in front of me and now my son has made spaghetti and garlic bread :drool: B ~ green smoothie, protein shake L ~ EYV chips (all vegetable) hummus, tilapia S ~ sharp cheddar cheese D ~ green smoothie, popcorn |

I'm at 170.5 this morning. All my doom and gloom predictions about how I would feel post-cheat day didn't come true, thank goodness! While I woke up feeling like I had swallowed a lead brick, lol, I do not have a migraine nor any cravings. In fact, I can't say I feel like eating anything. I did eat my usual 2 boiled eggs for breakfast, and although they didn't taste great, my green tea is quite soothing, so I'm enjoying it.
Week 27: 1/18: 168 Cheat Day 1/19: 170.5 1/20 1/21: 1/22: 1/23: 1/24: Today's Meals: Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs, a teapot of green tea, Mio water Lunch: broccoli-cauliflower salad, cottage cheese, chicken topped with salsa, Mio water Snacks: a handful of walnuts Dinner: a large veggie salad topped with Manwich sauce made with ground chuck, a teapot of green tea, Mio water Gary, you've passed me! Keep going! :carrot: Rennie, oh my, Krispy Kreme, wow, that is tough! I hope you were able to resist them and the spaghetti! :crossed: |
