So did I. I could take any unhealthy food and find something 'healthy' about it.

French fries. They were potatoes! Potatoes are healthy!

Potato chips, same thing. So what if they were fried in oil, they were still potatoes, right?

Deep-fried veggies were still veggies!

Pizza, let's see... calcium and protein in the cheese, more protein in the meat, the crust was a bread serving and the pyramid says you're supposed to have those! And vitamin C and lycopene in the sauce.

Cake? There were eggs in there. Eggs are good for you.

Long John Silvers? Okay, so everything is deep-fried, but it's still nutritional because of the fish!

lol, yep, been there done that

You know what's funny? I've never really been a big ice cream fan. I can buy those half gallons of whatever flavor I'm in the mood for and when I get a taste for it, I'll pull it out of the freezer, take a few bites, then put it back and I'm done.

My thing has always been pudding. Pudding and/or jello and whiiped cream. But fortunately I can buy sugar-free pudding cups and sugar-free jello cups and I always keep around the Reddi-Whip (the canned 'spray' type of whipped cream) then pop the top off my pudding or jello cup, spray it with some of the whipped cream and I've got myself one of my favorite desserts

LOL a half gallon of ice cream would never get stale around my place!

But I agree with you about the spray Reddi Whip... that stuff is good and low cal. I have been known to eat it out of the can LOL. It is also really good on yogurt!

Shh, don't tell anybody, but I'll sometimes reach in the fridge, pull out the can of Reddi-Whip, pop the top off, turn it upside down, and spray it into my mouth.

The BEST ice cream I have EVER had anywhere was in the Philippines! Wow do they know how to make that stuff! LOL they had some really strange flavors to our American taste... such as corn... but also some of the most incredible stuff!

And spraying Reddi-Whip into your mouth out of the can is a GREAT low cal dessert tee hee.... I am wishing I had some as that I could have <G> The chocolate kind is really good too. LOL

Dont forget, tortilla chips have corn in them, and corn is a vegetable.
Chocolate comes from a plant. Plants are vegetables!

I wish I was making these up!

I used to be able to eat a whole pint of Ben and Jerry's in one sitting. But I got the oatmeal cookie kind, and oatmeal is good for you too!

Its good to be able to joke about these things.

Yep, I keep regular and chocolate around. The regular I use on my chocolate sugar-free pudding and the chocolate whipped cream I use on the vanilla, lol.

I agree because it allows us to realize that we're not alone in the way we used to think!

Maybe the problem is the flavor? I'm a yogurt freak and I'd rather eat dog food than chocolate yogurt. I think it tastes really funky. My favorite is stonyfield farms lowfat, any flavor, but especially strawberry or peach. Yoplait is good too, and I also like Dannon fruit on the bottom. Yoplait Whips are good too, the key lime tastes like that yummy marshmallow jello salad they always serve at church socials.
