Question for Deb, Hate those Sweatpants.

Deb..
Where you are on maintenance, and it is over a year, do you still go to center to get weighed in?

There are three at my center that have been on maintenance that still go, and was wondering if you did the same.

Thanks
Patzi

That's it for now.. I hope everyone has a great day!
I'm sorry you didn't make it below 300 lbs but look at what you have accomplished...you have lost 25 lbs! Thats AMAZING. Hang in there...by this time next week you'll be saying goodbye to the 300's forever. Good job on the exercising...I really need to start walking! That's great that your inches are coming off so evenly, I hope mine do!

My weigh in's lately have been up and down. Two weeks ago I went to WI and I was back up to 177 the next time I went in I was down to 174. Earlier this week I was back at 177 but today I was down to 173. I don't know what is magical about 177, but I'm tired of going back there I just want to go down.

My scale at home I think laughed at me all week. It would waver between 173.8,.6, .4 finally today I broke through and it went down to 171.6. The scale at the center weighs me about 2lbs heavier.

Even though the scale tends to mock me putting on some cute size 14 capri's yesterday was fun. My confidence level went up a few notches. I noticed a pep in my step and I would walk around work w/ my head held high.

I am interested to see how my menu and meal planning changes in the next few weeks. My son is done with finals on Wed, so he will be moving back home for the summer. The one nice thing about the program so far is I only had to worry about myself. I didn't have the snacky stuff in the house but now that my son is home I may have some of that in the house. I think I'll tell him to put it in his room. Whenever I'd buy him chips and salsa to take back to school I'd just put the bag in his room so it was out of sight out of mind.

Congrats to all the losers this week. Praying you have a wonderful day.

Down a pound! A couple more and I will restart stabilization. What a roller coaster. I'm ready for this journey to be over.

I was wondering what everyone does for stress. I have had way too much stress on my plate lately and I don't know how to control it and not let it effect my weight. More seizures for my little man last night. A couple more seconds and we would have spent the night in the ER. Just wanted to know how everyone else handles stress.

I've been struggling with how to handle stress, too. Especially at work, since I can't just walk away from what I'm working on to go for a walk or something.

Eating when stressed is just so embedded in my nature, I'm not sure what else to do...

Wooo!

Weighed in this morning, down 2 full pounds, which is exactly what I wanted. It put me at 199.5! Good morning, Onederland!! This is the first time I've been under 200 lbs since about 2002 or 2003.

This just makes me even more motivated to stay OP this weekend!

These are some great ideas. I love it when people post recipes or ideas that are so easy and delicious ...I have made the ranch chicken fingers that I found somewhere on this forum and they are to die for. I've eaten them 2 out of the last 3 nights and the other night I ate my fish with the same ing. just subbed the fish. Oooh I want it tonight too....

If anyone wants the recipe just let me know and i'll post it.

We are big on the use of dried herbs around here.

I baked it at 350 for about 30 minutes...then I drained off the fat...then topped it with the hot sauce, covered it and turned it to 180 and left to workout for an hour. It was perfectly cooked when I got back!
THis looks so good. Thanks for posting.

Yes, I definitely want the recipe!

I've mostly taught 10th-11th grade English and ESL over the last 10 years. For the last year or so, though, I've been at the central office as "Lead Teacher." I'm basically a teacher coach and trainer right now. It's been a nice change of pace and I've learned lots, but I miss the kids so much so I"ll probably go back to the classroom in another year or two.

Default Filet Mignon??

So why isn't filet mignon on our menus if sirloin & round steaks are? Filet's are much leaner than sirloin. Just curious because I LOVE filets.
