Went in and Wi and lost 2.5 lbs!! I'm SOO relieved because I was so stressed cause last week only lost .5 lb. Have my motivation back, go to the doc today for my sinuses .. hopefully I'll be better soon; and can get back to my gym routine!! :carrot: :carrot: :carrot:

Nabeel I take magnesium and I have found for me, that works better than the fiber and the cleanses. But that's just me. I had a friend recommend it to me.

I TOTALLY agree works MUCH better than the fiber, who would of thunk?!?

Hey everyone,

I am on day 7 of MRC, and am really excited to lose the weight! I feel like I'm doing pretty well for the most part. I have some trouble eating 6 oz of meat sometimes tho (thats ALOT!!), and I'm already sick of veggies. Then theres those times when I'm at home and go " oh that little handful of chips isnt gonna bother me..." anyone else suffering from major carb cravings and snacking?:(

Welcome! It can be hard to eat 6 oz of protein, I stuggled with that at times, but like the plan itself, you get used to it I guess. Good news is that once you get under 200 it goes to 4 oz. Any craving can be hard to get through, but most of the time, the longer you go without it, the easier it is to pass up. Not always, but sometimes. Instead of reaching for chips or whatever, drink a big glass of water and wait 10 minutes. Then see if you are really hungry.

6ounces? I'm so jealous...I only get 3....boo...lol. Are you drinking your shakes or tried extra fiber? I know that helps me with cravings :)

You are so right Teresa! Most of the time in the past I used to eat more b/c of boredom/emotion than hunger.

Why do you get only 3? I know there is a certain menu you get once you are under 200 but then when does the menu change again? At what weight?

wow, 3 sounds kinda nice right now!! honestly most days i dont get anywhere near 6, its just so much meat! what are your favorite HNS??? I love the mixed berry, but thats really the only one i like!

Friday, Feb 12th I started the beige menu, i'm already down a couple pounds, we'll see for sure on Wednesday how much because my scale is slightly different.

Today I cleaned out my closet and got rid of all the clothes I have that are bigger than I wear and donated a lot that I can fit in but don't wear much and kept the clothes from when i was smaller (ages ago)! I think it's good motivation for me to not be as comfortable with the clothes I have. It was so nice putting them in bags knowing i'm never going to be large enough to wear them again! I'm so looking forward to collecting a bag of clothes on a regular basis as I go down in sizes!!!

Any other motivation advice for new people?

I am on metabalance so the menu stays the same throughout the whole program. I get less protein at meals but more "snacks" in between. So I guess it all balances it's self out :)
