Karla- No I havent gone to any classes yet..but I do have something tonight. Tonight I get my real menu and WI…Im not sure what the class is called but I know it’s a group thing lol I should have asked more questions..Thanks for the encouraging words..and congrats on your loss so far!!

thanks! Yeah the Connections class is a "group thing", but you will talk about all sorts of good stuff. This weeks topic for us was emotional eating. Which I know for me really hit home. I hope you enjoy your class and have a good WI. Keep us posted!

Just got home...only down 3.5 pounds in two weeks, but I'm down 16.5 inches! I'm excited!

SalaamDementia 02-07-2010 06:48 PM

Weighed in and got measured on Friday - Down 17.5 lbs and lost 17 inches since January 2nd! I'm so excited. :D

I got a piece of ribbon that was 17 inches long to document the inches lost. I stuck it on my fridge as a constant reminder for myself. :)

Ok...good! I was worried b/c everything I was reading about it said that the weight loss was slower. That is good. So you are liking it then. I am glad that I now know someone else on the metabalance ;) I am excited to try the turkey meatballs from MRC for the Super Bowl. Anyone else trying that recipe out????

Yes, I like this diet. To be honest, I was really bummed to find out that I was going to be on a "special" diet when I first started. But then, I started losing weight just as fast as everyone else and realized that this is what MY body needed.

How were the meatballs. I love turkey, I might have to try them out too. :)

Lost 2 1/2 pounds at my last weigh in, so now I am down 10 1/2 since Jan 9th! Got my 10# rock. You wouldn't think that little piece of glass would be so important! Kind of fell off plan the last couple days since we were snowed in...but, I am back on plan today and headed to the gym tonight. I will see how it all goes when I weigh in tomorrow.

Super Bowl Sunday was pretty tough - all that food! But I tried to keep my belly full of water and just try and eat my MRC ranch dip with veggies that I made. I feel very good about myself that I stayed on track, but oh my gosh, it was difficult! Now to conquer Valentine's Day.....

Hello,

I'd also try the cheesecake made with cottage cheese. That's what I eat for breakfast most mornings. :D It is so good and you can't even tell it's cottage cheese!!

If you blend it really, really well you honestly cannot taste the cottage cheese. I've been amazed at the things that I can make with cottage cheese - and not even taste it. For me the key has been to just blend the **** out of it so there are no chunks.

I'm planning on making the cheesecake for my breakfast and super interested to see how that will turn out. :)

Just got home from my WI, I'm down a half a pound! I'm so disappointed and upset, I've been staying OP 100%, been working out and only down a half of a pound in a week!! To top it off, I've had a sinus headache since Saturday!!
I'm worried I won't be able to fit in my shorts in March for my California trip, it's less than 6 weeks away!!
