Hi Denise! I had the taco casserole for dinner last night and it was sooo yummy! I think it may become a staple, especially since we are now getting some cooler weather. It is so nice to have something already prepared that I can just microwave--it also keeps me from stuffing my face with everything within arm's reach when I get too hungry from a workout! This casserole is so tasty, too. You continue to impress me with your inventiveness. I served it with brussels sprouts, which are my new favorite veggie now that I have found them in individual steamer servings at the grocery store. Who knew brussels sprouts were actually tasty?

I'm so impressed with your thrift store find, btw! I really need to take my old clothes to the one at the end of the street. I have such a hard time parting with things, though. I feel guilty for not completely using them up, but for heaven's sake...the stuff is way too big now!

Gosh, Carrie! That sounds serious! I'll try not to get in a smaller size than you. ;) I think I may have to correct myself on the Diane Sawyer issue. I believe she is 20 lbs lower than what has been recommended as my bottom limit, but when I looked up the height-weight chart for 5'10", the range was 135-174. She might have just squeezed into that lower limit, but I'm telling you that she's got to have much smaller bones than I do! Seriously, though, I'm thinking about lowering my goal to 160 to see what happens. I wasn't terribly uncomfortable in my size 14's today, but I found myself wrestling with them all day. I didn't feel good in them.

So glad you enjoyed the taco casserole. I make it often (maybe too often) but never get sick of it!

Hello to all. They weight loss each of you are experiencing is great! I love reading your posts.

I have a question maybe you can help with. I am losing 3.5 pounds each week. Went to weigh in yesterday and my consultant told me that I should up my HNS to 5 instead of my usual 3 and it would really get my weight to moving. I have been on plan 100% with no cheats since 9/20/08. Is there something wrong with losing 3.5 pounds a week? It is getting close to my husbands annual lay off time at work and I really don't want to spend the extra $$ on HNS if I don't need them. Your opinion?

You are doing great with 3.5lbs lost per week! If you don't want to spend the extra money on the HNS, then don't worry about it. At 3.5lbs per week, will you reach your goal by the end of your contract date? That's the only thing I would consider.... If it would help (and I've noticed it does) to drink the extra 2 HNS a day to get to your goal faster, and not have to end up resigning, it might be worth it.... It just depends on which works best for you.

BUT, let me restate.... YOU are doing GREAT!

Thanks for the encouragement. I enjoy reading your posts and look forward to trying your recipes.

If I continue to lose 3.5 pound each and every week until my 3/16/09 end date then I will make goal. I guess I better suck it up and get my 5 HNS in a day.

Thanks again :)

Do you take the MR6 as well? I have been taking that from the start.

YES, IHAVE FROM THE START AS WELL AND ONLY TOOK THAT AND THE OIL AND VITAMINS. BUT WHEN WT LOSS WAS SLOW, I DECIDED TO TRY CORTI-TRIM. WORKS GREAT! I HAVEN'T HAD MY MEASUREMENTS TAKEN LATELY TO KNOW IF IT REALLY DOES SHRINK BELLY FAT THOUGH.

I THINK 3.5 EACH WEEK IS HUGE! ON THE RECIPE THREAD THERE ARE CHEAP VERSIONS OF HNS YOU CAN MAKE YOURSELF.

Okay when I run out of MRC6 I will switch over to the corti-trim!

Can those two be taken together?

maybe you could just try it for a couple of weeks and see if it increases your loss enough to find it beneficial?

Namaste is right. You should be celebrating 3.5 lbs a week! That's a great accomplishment! My gut reaction is that your center is trying to sell you more product, but I think there is something to maxxing out your HNS if you do it sparingly/strategically.

Someone mentioned the alternative HNS on the recipe thread. I have been taking the minimum HNS required for my plan and supplementing my plan with the homemade HNS recipe Meemo posted (but I'm not maxxing out). Basically, it is unflavored whey protein dissolved in a glass of Crystal Light. I started on pink lemonade, but I've moved to the sunrise edition--classic orange! The consistency is different, but I've actually gotten to where I like it better than the real HNS. It also seems more filling to me than the HNS. Just my 2 cents...

Michelle-
Look up some of the home made recipes also if you do eggs you can add 2 extra egg whites to them for extra protein for a meal. I love doing that one when I make omelets at lunch! It makes a nice sized omelete and I get very full. I usually dice up Green Pepper and Green Onion in it.

Good Luck

Tina
