Oh, and I picked up 2 more jars of the PB2 at the commissary yesterday - you never know whether it's a permanent item or not.
Congratulations!! You're officially on stabilization now!! Great to know I can try Judy's apple crisp the first week. And thanks for the tip - I looked at our commissary and couldn't find it. I'll just have to get it downtown, which is better than ordering on-line.

Hey, all! Got the PB2 in the mail this week and LOVE it! They sent a sample of the PB2 with chocolate, which my DH fell in love with. I will definitely order more down the road. It was great to dip my apple into, and I may try some with half a banana in a smoothie.

Hope everyone is hanging in there. I'm still 4 lbs up, but seem to be stable there. When I asked about the slow creep upwards and what should be my next move, they told me to start recording what I'm eating to see if they can make suggestions as to what may be better. Sounds like if you hit the 6 lbs up, they don't immediately make you rejoin the program.

And a passing note...buying clothes is sure an experience. I bought a size 4 skirt today (a first for me!), but had to buy size 8 pants. At one point in time, the sizes really bugged me. Now, I care more about how they feel and look. So I still have a couple of size 10 tops, some size 8s, some mediums, one or two smalls, then 10-8-6 pants and the lone size 4 skirt. Wierd, huh? Anybody else have this happen?

Yes! I just stopped looking at sizes and buy what looks good. Our bodies will continue to change over the next year of maintenance too. Glad to hear you liked the PB2. I'm dying to try it!! I don't know if I mentioned they adjusted my target weight to 155. I'm leaving my ticker alone. I had the mgr as my counselor today and she said 155 is very realistic, but I get to call the shot - if I'm more comfortable at 160, then that will be my goal weight. When I'm honest and poke around my new muscles (from the running and sit ups!!!), I can still feel a lot of "fluff" above the muscles. I think 14 lbs is realistic - and honestly, I was secretly going for the 155 anyway, I just didn't want the bar too low!

Gina: I know you can do the 14 lbs if you feel that is the best for your goal. With all your exercising, this should be do-able. At my age, I think I will always have the "fluff" you refer to

I keep struggling with the idea of 155 - I have to get rid of the mental block to get off of this plateau! I know I need to lose a little more, but I'm not sure how I will look at 155. I really don't want to be too thin at age 43 - sometimes it looks a little better to be at the higher range. Our mgr said I can call the shots on this one. My range is 145 to 166, so I can see why they say that. I'll just see how I feel when I get a little closer. I'm mentally ready to start stabilization, so I just have to hang in there for the last 9 lbs!!

Went in for my first stabilization weigh in - I'll be repeating week one, which I knew going in. (Probably wouldn't have bothered but I needed a new food sheet!) I'm having some "plumbing" issues (as in personal plumbing) - went to the dr this morning & he thinks I'm starting a UTI. I'd taken ibuprofen a couple of days last week, which always makes me retain water, so between that, stressing over what was going on (hasn't been feeling like the usual UTI), and eating way too much at bunko Saturday night, I'm like a big ol' water balloon. Didn't even need to get on the scale - I could tell by my rings & by looking at my legs. That's okay - hopefully the antibiotics won't make me retain water too! Geez!

Anyway, stopped at Goodwill on the way home & found another cute jacket & a couple of tops to go under it - too bad I couldn't have waited another hr to pay for them or they would've been half price! But it wasn't worth the $6 to leave & go back & maybe not find them again.

Hey, my kind of shopping! I haven't been to Goodwill in awhile, so need to make that trek again. Are you like me in that you love to share with anybody and everybody the good deals you get at the thrift stores? My DH thinks I'm nuts to even shop there, but I have a ball when I come up with great things to buy.

Ouch! UTIs are the pits. Hopefully next week you'll be feeling better (UTI under control, weight loss back on track).

Congratuations, Meemo, on getting to stabilization, round 2. I can't wait to get there (round 2 for me, too). Hope your UTI clears up quickly. Wishing you a successful week 1.

Plateaus are the worst!! No reward for hard work. I know you can do it...

I know - I LOVE to find deals there - also found a cute little lamp (I've turned into a lamp freak - I hate direct overhead lighting unless I absolutely need it, have lamps all over. And a Disney princess clock radio for my granddaughter. Not sure how good an idea it was, now that she's played with it a bit - I can see her turning it on at o-dark:thirty when she's here for a sleepover...maybe she can take it home!

Luckily, the UTI (assuming that's what it is) wasn't full-blown so the pain/burning hadn't kicked in yet. Honestly I thought maybe my bladder was "dropping", and if the antibiotics don't fix it, I'll be back trying to figure out what's really going on. Hopefully I was just lucky & caught it early.

Meemo, sorry about the infection but glad you're on the meds for it. My stabilization took 8 weeks to finish--I had to repeat 2 weeks of it.
I'm hanging in OK so far with maintenance--I will WI this week, probably on Thursday. I'm having trouble making myself keep up with the food sheets, though--do the rest of you still do them? I don't know why I seem to have a mental block about them lately!

I didn't do them too well on maintenance either, but I did track my food for awhile with sparkpeople - it helped me see how "little" extras can add up quickly.

I did ok on my food sheets during stabilization. Never really thought about having to continue with the sheets during mainteance. I guess that makes sense. I will have to mentally prepare for that too. That would make a big difference. I would forget what I'm eating now if I didn't write it down. It all adds up quick.

Meemo e-mailed me her sheets for maintenance, but I'm embarrassed to admit I only used them for two days. I need to get them out again and start to track what I do eat. There has been too many "guesses" as to what I think I can eat, usually meaning too many carbs.

Hi all! I have not posted or read in a while. Had power and internet issues with the ice storm. But we all survived so for that I am thankful. I got my powdered PB yesterday. Thanks Meemo for telling us about it. I LOVE IT! They gave me a sample of the choc pb and I did not really care for it. I was wondering if you can make up some and store it already mixed? Does anyone know.
