I would love to see more maintainers here on this tread. I have been maintaining since May. I've been trying lots of different things and my weight is flexing up and down but not overly so. I have yet to find what works for me. I stick pretty much with the basic maintenance menu and have an occasional treat. I have also tried counting calories but find myself not eating the healthy basics. I too am looking for ideas. Thanks thinknthin for restarting this tread hopefully it will again become a tool for maintainers.

Hey Dance4Ever, Great Job. How about some pics? You are a shining example of what can happen when determination and motivation become solid!

Ok, I was wondering if you stick to MRC's 1200 calorie menu, how much wiggle room do you have daily? Or don't you have any at all?

As for eating, do you have to eat all the food during the meal or can you save something for a snack?

HSN's? Still taking them? I've pretty much give up on the supplements but still feel as though I need about two HSN's a day.

Thanks! And, let's keep that weight off!

Once you get to maintenance it is all about what works for you. I think that is what makes it very difficult. No one can really tell you exactly how to maintain. It is all trial and error. So for me the 1200 calories were too low and they actually moved me up to 1400. Still sounds low but there are things we eat and drink that have calories that are not counted. (Ketchup, mustard, egg whites, I can't believe it's not butter spray) You will eat a few things that are not on the menu. I was told to keep things off menu to a max of 200 calories and definetly don't do it everyday. This will keep you in a range that you should be able to maintain your weight.
I really liked the MRC hot chocolate and I have it every morning as a snack. Low in calories extra protein and it keeps me full till lunch time. I don't have to use them at all I just like them.
You can eat 3 meals and 2 snacks or 3meals and 1 snack or whatever combination keeps you from getting too hungry. Most days i choose to eat 3 meals, 1mrc hot choc between breakfast and lunch, then a fruit between lunch and dinner(saved from lunch).
