I thought I would be starving when I read the menu, but it's a struggle to eat the food. I'm not complaining. I do like the taste of the protein drinks (Mixed berry) and I like the jello. By the way, when I lost the six pounds, the ladies at my center put my name in a drawing for a prize. They called me today to tell me I won a hot air balloon ride!!

:carrot: Woo hoo! That is a way to start off your program with a prize and everything! I'm glad your day went well! Here's to good weight loss at next w/i!

I weighed in today. It was my first weigh-in after starting day 1 after preconditioning. Can you believe I forgot my folder with the diet log? :o:oI violated my contract already. lol...To make matters worse, I only lost .6 of a pound and I wore my lightest clothes. :?: Hopefully, I'll do better on Thursday. I'm going to eat fish every night until then. By the way, I'm starting to despise salad.

Yeah - good news! I am over my plateau and down 5 pounds this week! Everyone kept telling me not to give up, and I am so glad I listened! It is so hard when your weight is not budging and even going up a pound or two! I guess I will just have to remember to be more patient (not one of my better virtues)! :)

Hi everyone! I have just completed day 2 of my first 4 days. I go in tomorrow to pick up my next menu. I really thought I'd be starving when I saw the menu. To my great surprise I have been OK. The only problem I am having is that my center suggested I drink 4 HNS's per day for two weeks. I can only get 3 down. By the 3rd one I just can't bear to drink another. Other than that, I seem to be doing OK. I guess I will weigh in as well tomorrow? Not sure, but I am excited :)

I wish I would've found this forum before I went to join. When I went, my center was somewhat pushy...I ended up getting the MRC6, Phenetrim (I think that's the way it's spelled) and the Corti-trim. I bought a multivitamin and Flax seed from another store. After reading the posts, I think after I run out of the pills I will try it without.

Thanks for all of the advice and support!!!

Hi JGo! :)I was thinking the four drinks would be too much for me as well. So, I picked up some HNS jello. They have a strawberry/banana flavor that's very good. I get to have my HNS and dessert, too. I have the jello for lunch and dinner and the drinks for breakfast and mid morning. I was reading on another board that you can also make jello with your favorite HNS drink by adding Knox gelatin. I'm going to try that when my jello box is empty.

JGo530 03-10-2009 10:07 PM

Hi Shelby! That sounds like a perfect solution! I may try the HNS and knox before I buy the jello :) Thank you!!!

Are you drinking the powders or the concentrates? I like the concentrates because you only have to mix them with 4 oz. of water. They are a lot easier to get down and I think they taste better too! Just a thought....

JGo530 03-11-2009 10:16 AM

I bought all powder, so maybe once it runs out I will try the concentrate. I don't mind drinking clear water at all and never was a fan of the 'add-ins' so I guess that is why it's hard for me. 4oz of water is great!!!

I am on Day 10! I get to work off of my new menu tomorrow! HOOORAY! Day 11 and I am on my way! I am a newby oldby - did this diet years ago....have tried eveyrthing else in the world since and nothing works like this. I just started jogging and MRC. The two together, if nothing else, give me the sense that I am taking care of biz-nezz. Hopefully, I'll start reaping all that I feel I am sowing.

I just started the blue diet today (day 5) and was wondering about soy crisps. When can we start eating those? I'm going to the movies tomorrow and was wondering if there is anything I can take in there other than my HNS drink.

Hi Sherry! Congrats on blasting that nasty plateau! I was on one for about 3 weeks! I think I finally got over mine, I lost 2 lbs this week but before that had only lost .5 and 1.5 since 2/13! It is discouraging but what helped me is knowing that even though the scale was not moving that I was losing inches. The jeans I am wearing today were tighter on my last week! Keep up the great work and you will get there in no time!!

Just wanted to say "HI" and wish you luck. Those first 4 days can be brutal! Just remember that it is only temporary. I agree about the concentrates being better than the powers, I drink one with each of my meals and have another in the evening for my bedtime snack. I stick with the 3 flavors that I like best and when you get to have creamys I try to have mine at night....I love the lemon chiffon pudding! I don't know about going without the supplements, I currently take the All Day weight loss, the corti trim, the MRC6. I also take B12, B6 and flax....these I bought elsewhere. I took the Phentratrim for the first 2 months but I think I like the All day better, I am never hungry now!! :) Good luck and continue to come here everyday, this site has saved me so many times!!

That is great discoverjoy! You will get creamys now! I love the hot cocoa and the lemon chiffon pudding! They are my treats after eating OP all day! I just started working out myself, I am doing the treadmill at the gym and a little on the elliptical. I am going to get some resistance bands this weekend, my friend has been doing them for 2 months and her arms look great! Good luck and I wish you much success!!

Welcome brookstou!! I had headaches too from caffeine withdrawal probably because I have been off of it for 2 months now but I started taking B6 and I hardly ever have a headache now. Check out the recipe thread up above, they have some great ones! I cut and pasted and made my own cookbook that I keep in my kitchen. Good luck and looking forward to hearing about your progress!

Bump!

Just bumpin for the new newbies!

How's everyone doing?

Chynadahl 03-16-2009 06:42 PM

Hello All. I started the program a month ago. I have been doing pretty good during the week staying OP, but weekends are REALLY hard for me! I tend to do well in the mornings on weekends but by the evening I've fallen off the wagon. I have not gone into the center to weigh in for a week, as I feel terrible about not sticking to the program. The ladies at my center are supportive but I still cannot seem to get the courage to go WI until I am on program for at least 3 days straight. I know that I need to stop beating myself up about what is already done. Everytime I think about the money that I have spent I get more PO'd at myself! Any advise?
