First of all, this is the first time I have put my weight out for everyone to see. I'm pretty ashamed of how heavy I've gotten. So I started Medifast on 1/4/16 and I pray that I can keep it up. I'm down over 5 lbs in 3 days. . I'm hoping I can keep myself motivated by using this forum. I am going to post my weigh-ins on Monday's. Wish me luck!
I'd like to post here. I'm on of those daily folks who weighs daily though. So far I'm down 4.8. I've done this before and reached goal... but as many others do I'm back for round.... who knows. My goal right now is 169.
Laura you and I are real close in weight. Good Luck.
I'm just wondering...do all of you have a Medifast coach? I've been thinking about doing Medifast but just wondered if the coach is what I should be finding first.
Thanks! BTW your weight losses are great!

Reason: Spelling errors..of course!
kwalk50, I have had a TSFL coach before (free), and now I am getting MF through an official MF weight loss center with counselors (extra cost). The center says they sell the food cheaper than online, so that helps a bit to make up for the counseling cost I like the counseling aspect as I have been a binge eater in the past, so every little bit helps me, ha!
I stated doing MF without a coach. Then I decided I wanted to be a coach until I realized it a pyramid scheme. To be a coach you have to have a coach - so I was assigned a coach. She didn't coach me on anything except trying to recruit more coaches - so I'm back on my own. I thought coaches were someone who knew the program, but in reality its just a way for them to make money. Alot of them have never even lost weight.... Sorry I guess I had a bad coach...
Hi, everybody! I'm new to this forum but have been Medifasting and daily weighing for 20 days now. Ginamay, I think a recognize you from another forum -- good to see you here!
My next "official" weigh-in is in two days, and I'm starting to get discouraged. In Week 1, I lost 7lbs. Week 2...3lbs (and I went off-plan halfway through that week). This week, I've been on plan, and actually undereating a little (not on purpose! it's hard to fit six meals into a day sometimes...), and it looks like it's going to be another -3lbs week. Which I should be thrilled about. 3lbs down? From Sept-Oct it was 3lbs UP. This is great...but I'm having trouble being happy with it, celebrating my success, or feeling anything other than impatient and angry at myself.
The past couple of days I "changed" my goal from 50lbs to 10lbs, five times. So first mini-goal of 10lbs - DONE!
2nd mini-goal of 10lbs....probably going to take longer than the first.

Gina, I believe you had a horrible coach. I never heard of TSFL until I found a group on FB and within the day my messenger blew up with coaches trying to recruit. I weeded out the "money" coaches right away and found a coach that lost the weight, put some back on but maintains. She is a true coach and I am where I am today partly because of her. PM me if you need help. I am not a coach lol
Greetings All,
Posted on on the other thread as well.
Starting week 3 today. I see a few of us are about the same weight 240 for me- I would like to be 160- but setting goal at 180 (I don't know why, but a friend weighs 180, and she looks pretty darn good, so i thought, WTH, I'll shoot for that)- as you can see pretty scientific approach :P Let's support each other !
I had a coach during my first MF rotation in 2011. She was okay but wanted me to sign up to coach. ..... not for me.. Anyway fast forward to now my 3rd time on MF. Still have some of the weight gone from last years' attempt. I would like to go all the way this time. Hopefully, posting and being accountable will help.
