Exercise Challenge for 9/3-9/9 Lets move that fat!!!
I am making an official cahllenge for us to help us keep and make our goals for Halloween
Let us get up and go more often. Move the fat and lets make a huge effort to rid our body of the excess.
I challenge all of us to make an effert to atleast 5 times this week to get up and do some sort of exertion, enough to make a difference. moving furniture will count, walking, exercise bike, lifting soup cans, any thing that makes an effort for you what ever it is. Things that do not count is watching the exercise(bellydancing) video and watching the neighbor do the work in his yard (unless he is really cute and has a great body then it would raise the heart rate and definatly count)
Post what you do in this forum, and if you skip a day post it anyways to let us know that you are still in!!
Me today I did nothing, I cleaned house, but that did not count.
At the gym at least 3-4 days a week, walking a bit further to the store EVERY TIME, watching that little cute thing push the mower until I can OUTDO HIM? EVERY TIME !!! :lol
Sue, I'm very committed! You and so many others have truly been amotivation! I don't want more chubby Christmas pictures with me trying to hide!

OK, I'm in. I have been very busy (read: eat whatever I want and don't exercise) since kids came back, and I need this!
Also, I expect to continue to be very busy because the Jewish High Holidays start soon, and continue (there's one about every or every other week) until around Halloween.
Just ordered some new exercise videos, but I won't wait 'til they arrive.
Just to sweeten the challenge, what do you all think of posting weekly our inches lost? (you don't have to say where they came from!) Since exercise changes our shape more than the scale numbers, this seems like a good idea.

I know I can make it atleast 3 days while I'm at work, it's the other days I have trouble with.
I see them as my "day off" days so I find other things to do.
Guess I'll have to move all the clothes off and dust the exercise bike sitting in my room!
I was carless and didn't make the gym, but I walked for an hour! I don't know how far, but I WALKED instead of being pouty cause ONCE AGAIN I don't have a vehicle!!!!
I had a bad day and I am sure glad that i got to d my exercises. I did only 16 min on the oliptical but hit over 200, I would have done 400 in 30 if i had kept on going. then ozzie worked my upper body and boy did he do a good job. If he keep this up I will have my boobs up by me ears they will be so perky in my dreams, I just want them off my waist!!!
I did a 25 minute aerobics video this morning and plan to do an hour one after work tonight. If I have time (doubtful) & it's not raining I'll try for a walk after dinner.
I'm in! The Halloween goal will be that much easier! Positive thinking!!!!
I made it to Curves everyday last week, and will be there again this week. When its closed on Sunday I'll be on my friend the treadmill, no not my life the real machine!!
I'm also swimming everyday in my new pool...
DH is getting up everyday at 5:00 to jog in the pool and do laps, so I told him I'd get up early and do his eggs!!
Soooo much better to move the fat when he is too!!
I was hoping Susie would be back from Illinois by now (SHE has a car!) so we would hit the gym. But she's not coming back until this weekend so I'll just have to keep jigglin' at home until them!

Looks like a no exercise day for me today. Had a late night last night so couldn't wake up for my morning tape, and I have a class tonight so won't be able to do a tape or go to Curves after work.
So I started out to walk and had this dark cloud following me!!! It won out and I headed back home. DS has all the wires going everywhere to the surround sound system and VCR's, DVD's, etc....couldn't figure it out so I could do my Latin Jiggle, SO, I mopped my floors! My den is 25x25, kitchen/brkfast area about 25x10, plus the hall and entry! I turned on the music and MOPPED! TWICE! It may be crazy but I mopped for about 40 minutes! Okay, so the rain and no car is getting to me....but I MOPPED !!!
Did you get your excercise in? COME ON CHICKS! WE'RE ONE DAY CLOSER TO OUR GOAL !!!

Yes, I made it to Curves today. So far I've been everyday except the days they have been closed. Yesterday they started a 30 day challange and anyone that signed on got the Curves weight loss book. I read it last night, pretty interesting...
So is doing the 30 minutes at Curves enough?? I also do loads of floor excersises before I leave, so I'm usually there over an hour (sometimes I go around more then 3X) But I still feel like now that I am doing something, I should be doing more!! Don't really have time, but I'd like to.
Maybe I could mop??
