Doing a little Father's Day routine with Miree, I'm cleaning out his comuter of all the crap he gets on it and she's making a picture for him. I let him sleep in this morning and I expect he will want to go somewhere to eat this morning.

SLug day for us all, we worked hard yesterday and got a ton of housework done--both yards mowed and half the laundry done. Today is the other half but hey--maybe a little swimming this afternoon?

Heading out to the Arts Festival early. Last year it was shoulder to shoulder on the streets, I need to be thru most of it before it gets that bad Hopefully we will be able to get some artists to showcase their work in our store. I'll let you know how it goes

Morning Everyone!!!

It is a beautiful, sunny day here in IL. The humidity has gone down and it is one of the first truly nice days here. My DH and DS just took off to go golfing. What a weird feeling--DS was treating DH to the golfing for Father's Day AND drove him to the golf course! I am NOT yet used to seeing him behind the wheel.
We had a great time last night with our company. I stayed OP with my eating--even passed up baked potatoes and apple pie/ice cream. I did drink some wine so I am not looking to see a loss on the scale, but I felt pretty good about passing up the other goodies. Today is going to be a quiet day--the house is clean, the laundry is caught up==heck I might even get to sit down and read a book just for the fun of it!! We are grilling out again tonight--ribeyes!! Don't you LOVE low carb!

Kel, Wow, that is so cool that your boys are going to the World Series--isn't that what ESPN televises every summer? We always watch that. You will have to keep us posted on their progress.

Dyan, hope your AC is working or that it has cooled down a bit for you!

Hello everyone. Good to see so many people out and about. Hilton Head, SC and Savannah, GA were so hot and humid that I probably lost 5 lbs. just standing outside. It was great to get away though and wonderful to see my daughter. I stayed OP except for 1 ice cream cone so I am very proud of myself.

Hoping to have time off soon. I was trying to find out when i had a day off last time and it was well into the week before last. and i have 12 hours to work tomorow!! I think I am off tuesday!
