hi everyone! I'm new here and I just wanted to say hi. I am trying the TSP diet,and I need all of the help and inspiration that I can get. I am so ready to get healthy and lose weight. And I know that low carb is the way to go.I look forward to posting on this board.
TSP is The Schwartzbien Principle diet. It is a very balanced, lower carb way of eating. I am reading her books and what she has to say makes alot of sense to me. I have just started but I have heard other people say how remarkable they feel after following her diet. I can't wait to start feeling better and having more energy.
I am not strictly following either Schwartzbein of Bernstein - just lowering carbs to get my blood sugars in control. Schwartzbein recommends 60 grams of carbs per day while Dr. B says 30 max! I find I am in "normal" range when I stick to 30-60 grams per day and about 1300 calories.
