Ruth, you made me post today!
I wanted to tell you that my sister had the surgery just 4 or 5 weeks ago. She feels great~! It wasn't anywhere as painful to recover from as what she was going through before! She had severe numbness and pain with complete muscle atrophy in one part of her hand- aside from a day or two to get over the incision pain, she healed very quickly. She wore the brace/cast for about a week or week and a half. She is so happy she had this done, as she works with her hands all day(optician.) So, move forward, good vibes from down here!
And, pesto on green beans, nothing better. Except pesto on salmon, flounder, scrod, broccoli, salad dressing, what else will lay still long enough to get slathered? And I make it homemade and freeze containers for the winter. And we still run out! Trader Joes makes on in a jar for $1.99 that was pretty good.
So, hi to everyone else- isn't this heat unbelievable? NY is like being in a sauna. The buildings and pavement hold the heat and it never cools down much at night- this feels like the hottest summer I can remember! You just want to stay inside!
glad everyone is well- so great that Alvin is coming along well!
be good chickies!
