Default New Here

Hi Everyone,

I just joined this site today. I am "trying" to maintain a low carb diet. Right now I am able to maintain my weight better w/ this sort of diet. I would like some suggestions on different low carb foods I can eat besides meat.

Default good morning sinnrah!!

and welcome to the noisiest group on 3fc!!! there's lots of stuff you can eat on low carb. check out the thread on 'what's in your refrigerator' for some ideas.

basically, anything around the outside of the grocery store is fair game: vegs other than peas, corn, beets, carrots; many dairy products [check labels so you can choose ones that fit in with the number of carbs you allow yourself], fish, tofu, meat of course.

some folks order low carb tortillas from some website or other [it's around this thread somewhere]

and maybe , just maybe, there's something in the new FAQ section. if not, maybe someone who's more organized than i am could actually find it and put it there [ok. i'll try later].

and there are a number of recipes in the recipe section.

so, hang out, ask lots of questions, and good luck!!

Welcome Sinnrah! There are loads of low carb veggies you can enjoy with this way of eating. Cheese is also a great addition to meat.

Best of luck!
