Susan -- I just got a new range in February gas too... Did you get the convection oven too?

Things are at a standstill in my neck of the woods, I am no longer a maintainer but trying to lose a serious few pounds...

Oh I did know that when you bought it, Ilene. No convection oven for me. You like yours?

Hi susan,

Seems like you are pulling through OK. You have a plan...that is half the work already.

I have an electric convection oven, and I like it a lot!

Ilene, like you I also have some serious pounds to loose. Sigh, I always have a problem with holidays, and I see it clearly the next day. I use food (and a glass of wine) as a reward, and I find it very hard to cut back at the end of a just too long and tiiiring day.

Bye,
Rabbit

Susan -- I love to cook with gas, the stove top was easy to get used to but the oven has taken me a while, everyone says that convection is so much hotter than regular ovens, but I don't find that at all... I use all the same settings as before...

I love my convection oven too but it cuts a few minutes off the baking/cooking time. I just check a few minutes early and whatever is usually done.

Best of luck on the move, Susan! I know how disruptive that can be, but you've really given it some thought and planning (as always! ) Won't it be great once you're all settled?

Welcome back, Sandy! You were missed.

Oh man yes! I kinda wish I could transporter myself to next Tuesday! It's such a nice little house on a nice quiet street.

Today ... DS#1 and I have errands to run this morning. How are you supposed to keep packing and cleaning when there is sooo much running around to do? Then we go to the lawyers this afternoon.

It has been absolutely lovely weather here lately. Anyone else? About 22 or 23 C and sunny. It's gorgeous!

Hello,

I thought I would hop over to this maintenance board.
I been maintaining between 141-145 for 4mths now, after losing 40 lbs.

It would be really spectacular if I could drop another 10lbs, but it seems like a real struggle.
Maintenance is tougher than I thought - have to really stay on track or the pds creep on.
You are all very inspirational and I would love to join you so I can keep it off.

-Susan

Welcome Susan!

You're in good company - I'm sure most of us would like to lose a few more pounds. But you're right that the important thing to focus on is keeping the weight off! And it really does take constant vigilance, doesn't it? Who'd thunk it? (not me, for sure )

Jump right in -- it's a great group of losers.

Meg and Ilene - Thanks for the warm welcome.

It is great to have a place where others understand the plight to stay slim.
Sure isn't the first time I've lost this 40lbs - but it will be the last!!

Hi everyone. I have been missing since Sunday. I had to buy a new computer and it was just delivered today. My house is hectic right now, so I'll catch up later when it's less hectic. Missed everyone.
