I took Chico on a 3 mile walk and I did do a tiny bit of jogging but it hurt so I stopped. Right now I'm icing my knee. Tomorrow we're golfing. I hope the swing won't tweak it.

Michele - lol! It's a silly term I use to mean either (a) ironing I am resisting doing but have to do nonetheless or (b) just ironing because I find I get a better result with this steam iron if I press hard!

Both SO & I iron but there always seems a lot to do. DB wears a shirt & tie to school so shirts mount up.

Posting this from breakfast in bed before I spring into life.

Yesterday, 1 hour upper body weights; 2.5 hours square dancing (there were no extra people, so if one couple chooses to sit out a set, then 4 couples sit out!)

Today - no exercise. Ahhhh.

Monday:
brisk walk with the dog, about 15 minutes

Run didn't happen due to poor weather and me being lazy.

Monday - 3.15 miles at the park, broken into 6 sprints at 10k pace of 400m, walking in between sprints, easy half mile jog as cooldown. 30 mins of ball work (crunches, side crunches, back extensions, hip extensions, etc.).

Taper week for half-marathon, which dovetails in smoothly with my four days of no exercise last week.

Tuesday:
15 min brisk walk with the dog this AM
strength workout:
5 min warmup walk/jog
3x10 squats with 2x15# dumbbells alternating with
3x10 push-ups on the weight bench
3x10 lunges (some walking) with 2x15# dumbbells alternating with
3x10 one-arm bent over rows with a 20# dumbbell
3 planks, 35s each

Still planning on a run tonight, it looks like the weather will be gorgeous. Hopefully my legs won't be too sore from those squats and lunges!
