Pam, when Shane woke up, I broke the news gently about his boots. LOL, I asked him what size he wore so I could buy him some new ones. Then, I told him the dog ate his. LOL. He decided to go with me to look for new boots. It ended up costing me $115.00 to replace his. Rather expensive doggy chew toy, I think. The good news was, Shane decided we should shop for boots at Academy Sports, a store I'd never been to. OMG, I'm in love with this store. I found me some cute workout clothes. Plus, they had all kinds of neat stuff I want to go back and buy. I bought some jogging pants for my outside walks and 2 prs. of shorts for my treadmill walking. I found a winter jacket that I want and I foresee spending a lot of time and money in this new store. Lacy found lots of stuff she wants too and Shane picked himself out some neat looking golf shirts. Wow, it was so nice to shop somewhere besides our tiny little mall or Walmart. I told Shane all I want for Christmas from him and DH is a gym membership and a big gift certificate to this new found store.LOL
I found a very old book here that worrried me a little yesterday. It was called "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex" but were afraid to ask. Both girls and Shane denied having any knowledge of how this book got here or where it came from. Lucy took care of the book for me last night , alternating bites of it with bites of the boots I guess. I haven't asked DH about the book yet, but at age 43, I'd think he wouldn't need it. LOL.
