Do we have coverts now?

I personally unloaded 3 cases of the Bella's from the truck that came in this morning. By the time I left at 2, we had none left.

So who's now going to be posting their new favorite concotions? I'm whipping up strawberries and ricotta tonight. Tommorrow night it'll probably be yogurt and coconut. Maybe I should be on the informercial.

I'm thrilled to announce I have used my Bella....I had some raspberries in the freezer, a little skim milk and crushed ice; added a touch of splenda and it was good...what was great was the Bella. I love how it works....smoosh down, twist and you're good to go. I even had to do some Cassi banging because it was actually too thick. I think I'm really going to like this thing...Megan, again, thanks for the Macy's sale tip!

Yes, thanks Ms. Macy! I had the cardholder flier that had come in the mail sitting right next to me, but had not taken the time to go thru it! My favorite healthy recipe (keep in mind I'm not a LAWL person, just cruising thru from Ladies Who Lift....)

My version of the protein smoothie is 1/2 small bag of frozen strawberries, 3 scoops of chocolate whey protein powder, 3c water - that's iT!!! It tastes great & very strawberry. This makes about 2 - 20 oz servings. I used to put banana in it, but it clumps up my drinking straw, and I realized I like it better w/o the bananas anyway now.

Well I bit the "Bullet" so to speak...

I went to weigh in today and hit my 10 lb mark and told myself I deserved it!

I'm off to make my boys a milkshake.

I used my BC last night.
I threw 3 ice cubes, 4-5 frozen whole strawberries, 1/2 banana in and a splash of water.

GREAT !! It was soo good. The only down side - I still had 3 fairly big ice chunks left in. I think I needed more liquid and more blending - my guy was hollering to "SHUT that thing OFF" while I was mixing - quite loud - he was trying to watch Last Comic Standing :-)

I can't wait to try it again - and I'm gonna have to figure out a way to bring it to the family reunion next weekend !

I made a strawberry banana one this morning in my bullet with a little OJ. It's great!!!

So, how is the ricotta and berries? How does that come out? Like a whipped cream cheese?

I think the bananas make it really tasty. My DD loves 1/2 banana blended with 8 oz milk. Sometimes I put a splash of vanilla in it to give it a little extra flavor.

This morning I threw my egg whites and a little egg yolk in there and whipped up some scrambled eggs for my breakfast burrito (made with LaTortilla wrap and some fresh salsa...yummy and I'm still full!). Of course it's just as easy to whip up those eggs in a bowl, but I have four blending cups with my Bella C and it was just sitting there saying, "try me again" so I did. I bought some SF chocolate pudding mix and I'm going to make a legal chocolate Frosty this afternoon!

Joni - I use mine to mix up scrambled eggs all the time. They come out fluffier that way...and for french toast mixture, too.

Joni, do you use the Pudding Mix from LAWL? Sorry, am not familiar with all the abbreviations and acronyms yet...

Thanks!

Just an FYI, I just bought a Magic Bullet on sale at Kohl's for $59.00. Not the $19.99 price for the Bella but I am still happy with it. The kids loved their first milkshakes last night!

Jersey - I've got a box of the LAWL Chocolate pudding mix, but I've never used it..I think Deb (Nashville) made a frosty with that mix the other day??
I was just going to experiment with the jello Sugar Free pudding mix.
