Chershi-
It sounds like you have the same problems at your center that everyone has. You are right though....you are doing this for yourself and not for them! Have a gerat lunch!

I have never been able to find anything else. They do that so you have to buy their $28 cookbook!

If you find anything in your search please let us know!

Hi everyone:
Nancy glad you are back with us. I have been struggling to stay on program myself. It is hard to stick to program sometimes when there is alot going on. Cute veggie basket at least your trying to think healthy.
Chershi my center has not had consistancy either I don't let it bother me any more I just keep going to get finished for myself. At my center they can be pushy but I usually let them know first what I want, I really don't need to hear there sales pitch. I started on the purple and now I am on the Gold. Jibbelle on went on the gold when I was 185.
Jibbelle your are so wonderful to answer everyones posts thank you. How are you doing yourself?
I skipped weigh in today I might go tomarrow. I had a good day today for a change.
Have a good night

I think they told me I would start gold at 239 minus 50....whatever that is...my brain is dead...189! I guess that is about where you were when they put you on it. I went to weigh in today and I was up 1.5, but I know that is because of my jeans and heavy sweater. I will be down on Saturday so I will post a new weight then. I just went in because I was out of chocolate crunch bars!!!

They had healthy choice meals buy one get one free, so I bought a few tonight. They are nice for dinner on Thursdays between work and school.

Hi Jibbelle;
I was up also 1.5 I wish I could say I was wearing jeans no such luck. Hopefully weigh in on Saturday will be better. Good price on the dinners. I guess I will wait for the weight change also. By Saturday maybe it will be down.
Have a good day Diane.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around this week..its been a crazy one! We are having really bad weather tonight so please pray that there will be no tornados! We get them too frequently! It was 75 degress today....uugghhhh!! Nancy, you know how that is!

Diane, don't be too upset about the gain..sometimes that can just get us back on track!!

Jibbelle, i am so glad class is almost over for you!! Anything on the job???

Nancy, WOW you have been busy!! Glad to see you back!!

Welcome to all of the newbies and goodluck!!!

Well now the not such good news. I only worked out once this week and I ate badly all week. I think it is because I put too much pressure on myself. This weekend its all I thought about, really obsessed about..and then boom a bad week. I must try not to obsess and just take it day by day!

We will move to the new house tomorrow. I will try and get the computer up and running asap. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Hi everyone:
Marcie keep safe and hopefully the bad weather will be over soon. It is hard when we put so much pressure on ourselves. Even after all these months and pounds lost I still will get anxious and mess myself up, these past two weeks have been up and down and up again. I talk to myself all of the time I know it is hard but turn the pressure around and make it positive. We have to be our own support. No one can really stop you from eating except yourself. I am also finding this a hard time to lose weight I feel myself making excuses for myself when really there is no need. Take the little steps you need instead of trying to take one big one you will get there.
I had another good day, I made it two days in a row. I guess I need those little steps also right now.
Jibbelle: Are you going for a higher degree or just extra classes?
Have a good night
Diane

Marcie-
Glad to see you! Good luck with the move, and I hope the weather is nice tomorrow for you!

Diane-
I am working on a Master's in Biotechnology. One class at a time! It will take about 3 years, but hopefully it will be well worth it! MO MONEY!

No new job news Marcie. They supposedly made the decision on Tuesday. I guess HR is putting an offer together and drawing up the contract. I have a 50/50 chance since there was only two of us who interviewed. I have a feeling I did not get it though...since I was competing against my old manager! Have to wait and see though. *still keeping fingers crossed*

Ok...so you want the bad news or good news first? How about the bad. I did not get the job that I have been interviewing for. My old boss got it. I am dissappointed, but I am sure something even better will come along.

Ok...good news. I just went and weighed in and I am down 2.4 lbs this week!!! WOOHOO I am only 5.6 lbs from my Christmas goal. I think I will be able to make it if I am good!

Thank you to everyone for always being so supportive. I really couldnt do this without you!

Hello!
I am not on LAWL, but I always read this thread because you are all so positive and upbeat. I just wanted to tell you congrats on the weightloss. You are doing a great job and that Christmas goal is in the bag!! I only have 6 pounds until my goal and you've renewed my faith that I can do it! Good luck to you and keep up the good work.

Hi Jibbelle:
Sorry about the job. But congrats on the weight loss. I am just so excited for you.
What do you do about clothes as the weight comes off, in the beginning I wore alot of elastic but even then things would get to big. I did not like spending money on clothes that I knew I would not wear for long.
I am not sure I will reach my Christmas goal but I am going to keep trying. I lost the weight I gained and lost an extra 1/4 not so hot for the week but it is a lose.
I am going to try to be good along with you. Do you have plans for the Holidays that are going to interfear with your plan. It seems like I have something every weekend. I hate when temptation gets in the way.
Marcie and Nancy how are you doing?

Have a great weekend!

Diane-
When I started I could barely fit in size 24. They are way to big now...and the 22s I bought are getting a bit big on me as well. I wear jeans to work every day. So I am just buying 3 pairs every time I go down a size. It is expensive but what choice do I have? As far as shirts go.....I can still wear some of the old ones, although they are a bit big. I just bought a few new ones to add to my closet. This whole process is going to be expensive, but well worth it in the end!!! My mom weres size 24 and is starting to lose now. So maybe I can give her my hand me downs!

I have no idea what are plans are for Christmas yet. I do have quite a bit of vacation time during the holiday. That always gets me in trouble! I will just have to stay busy.
