Default Is Dr. Daisy in?!?!

hehehehehe Remember last week when you mentioned to me about pushing protein for my snacks cause of my low blood sugar...etc?!?!?!?

Well I have really been trying to do that and I *feel* 110% better!!! Staying fuller longer and not having the headaches or dizzy spells. That was pretty much what the doctor told me awhile back and well being the absent minded person I am, I didn't do it Thanks for the push in the right direction and the kick in the butt!

I read recently that if you have a carb (complex or otherwise) without a protein if your body is going to store anything as fat it is then. Protein cannot be stored as fat.
Just a note for those who are at a plateau or feel stuck. Maybe switch your snacks to protein or add a protein to it like lowfat cheese or non / 1% milk.

Way to go Laurie~ I am glad you are feeling better!

Awww - NP Laurie... I have the same problem - I just know that I fare better with a protein snack - even though popcorn is my favorite, LOL... Whoever made those little cheesesticks should be awarded the nobel peace prize, IMO!
